There is probably hundreds of artifacts (statues, treasures, scripts, sarcophagoses etc) in museums in Germany, Britain, The US, France which were stolen or took from western archeologists from Turkey, Greece, Egypt, Iraq etc. when they were all parts of the Ottoman Empire. They were all welcomed to do their jobs in the Empire and take whatever was found as prescious enough by them but yeah, it was CHP that sold Turkey's history in 1931 when they gave Bulgaria a wagon full of archives where it was probably written how much taxes was taken from the villages around Istanbul, how many houses and sheeps you can find there, how many uniforms were brough for the army in the barracks and etc... archives that eventually according to ATALAY came back to Turkey so let's see what HUGEEE historical and scientifical discoveries will be made of them. :cheesy:
In the history faculties in every big university around the world you can find documents and archives from different countries and periods of time who end up in the universities in one way or another- mostly as donations from other universities, countries and people.

ps Who needs archives and real historical facts in a country where historians like Kadir Misiroglu and Facebook pages and photos are taken as serious sources of information though...

Turkey’s new political party may be named ‘Center Democrat Party’

n_117313_1.jpg

The name of a new political party that is in its foundation stage may be named “Center Democrat Party,” according to a former Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) lawmaker.

Koray Aydın, who resigned from the party on Aug. 22 and announced his allegiance to a group of MPs who had renegaded from the MHP, said that the party will feature leftists, conservatives, nationalists, liberals and so on.

“Efforts regarding the party name are ongoing. There is work on the ‘Center Democrat Party’ emblem,” Aydın told private broadcaster Habertürk late on Aug. 28, as he added that the founding board will include names well-known in their areas.

Several MHP lawmakers had resigned or were dismissed after the MHP formed an alliance with the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) for a constitutional amendment that would grant sweeping powers to the president.

Among those names was Meral Akşener, who had been leading the dissident movement within the MHP before transforming the opposition into establishing a new party.

During his interview, Aydın said that people love Meral Akşener and that they will receive votes from all parties.

“There must be a softening in politics and a woman’s hand should touch it. The most wearisome group is the AKP voters. Meral’s hand will relax politics. A softening takes place in all areas touched by a woman,” Aydın said, adding that the new party may be founded by October.

“I thought I would have a hard time. I am surprised at the turn out of people flocking to take on duties. I see signs especially from the east and southeast of people taking on the work [for the party] and this makes me happy in terms of the future of my country,” he said.

Saying that people will see the party is “a new one when the founding members are announced,” Aydın noted that “it’s not the follow-up of a party,” referring to the MHP.

“We may be leading it, but when the foundation board is announced, people will see that individuals from all parts of society are involved. There will be Alevis, Sunnis, leftists, rightists, nationalists, conservatives, liberals and so on. We will provide the Turkish people with a cadre that will govern Turkey,” he added.

@Stimpy75, It was Erdogan's fans and AKP members that were playing zurnas and davuls and belly dancing on the opening of Yavuz Sultan Selim bridge last August... hours after more than 20 Turkish police officers and soldiers lost their lives in PKK attacks. How do you call that?

You forget really fast who created HDP and was a good friend with them for years giving chance to the PKK to grow much stronger during the Kürt açılımı. You forget who was a best friend with Feto for years and that Gulen members are still part of AKP.

Are those CHP members?

The difference you miss here is that a few people in the street can make anything, and get harmed only on their own, whereas A ruling party and government's actions are official, and do harm to the whole country in short, mid and long term.

For example, Waving flags of a terrorist organisation and leader of Turkey together in a street rally, and having good relationship with leaders of two terrorist organisation FETÖ,PKK; praising them on public speeches, or let them infiltrate into the state and parliament, install bombs, gain power in countries around neighbouring or world and in the end admitting the co-operation with sentences ''whatever they wanted and we did not give'' are not the same thing.
