ANKARA

At least 30 Daesh terrorists were "neutralized" in northern Syria in the last 24 hours as part of the ongoing Operation Euphrates Shield, according to a Turkish General Staff statement released early Monday.

Turkish authorities use the word "neutralized" to refer to terrorists killed, wounded or captured.

In addition, 143 Daesh targets, including shelters, headquarters, defense positions and vehicles were hit by Free Syrian Army (FSA) fighters with Turkish army support, the statement said.

Turkish fighter jets also destroyed 51 buildings being used as hideouts.

The Turkish military is supporting FSA fighters in liberating Al-Bab, a strategic town held by Daesh.

Operation Euphrates Shield began in late August to improve security, support coalition forces and eliminate the terror threat along the Turkish border using FSA fighters backed by Turkish artillery and jets.

5 aydır Amerika'yı ikna edip Menbiç köyünden çıkaramayan adamlar Rakka'ya gidecek ha?

Allah'ım sen bana sabır ver.

Do they even know where Raqqa is?
Valla bende bilemyorum artik kardes. Amerika dünyadaki tek süpergüc. Illaki onun kurallari gecerli olacak, heleki Münbic'te ve diger bölgelerde üsleri varken.

Numan Kurtulmuş seems to be desoriented.
If Türkiye Cumhuriyeti can't do even in his own HINTERGarten what is evident to survive;
than forget the forum here and all we are talking about power .

If Turkey's main goal was to clear out the ISIS members out from El-Bab and finish the firat kalkan operation, then the Turkish military forces should not move forward to Raqqa and Munbic, just get back home.

That's the problem of power... when you taste it.. you always want more... till it burns you..

PKK/PKK should withdraw. They will be eliminated. Türk Devleti Aliye.

TurAF is capabale to level BAB, MANBIJ , ŞAM and ATHENS. Humanity is not weakness.

I don't think PKK will withdraw easily. I completely agree with you, they will be eliminated but the point here is that if the Turkish military forces keeps pushing it will cost us more than you might be thinking. We just need to stop where we are and just wait for the upcoming incidents or the steps by the other's...

Well if TR wipe out those cities... be assured pkk/YPG wouldn't be your worst enemy...

Brother. Othman from Tunisia.
That was my worst case scenario to all mentioned enemies,
if they will attack us together as they do now (with terror and as Greek decided after coup 15.July 2016) ;
we will react very fierce.
We are not N.Korea or Persia and only shooting fireworks.
We are your brothers and allies as Pakistan is and you were to the Othmans.

It's not weakness from TAF or TuAf. Remember that FSA is the spearhead of this operation and we are only backing them with tanks, special forces, air strikes, and artillery. If it was a major scale invasion/operation only by TAF then this operation would've been a success a long time ago. FSA has no moral and are easily pushed back.

But I believe after Al-Bab we can clear out YPG from Efrin side and then we can advance on Manbij from the north (of Syria).

the west of euprahts is irrelevant east of eupraths this is the important part
