Turkish Peace Operations in Syria (Operation Olive Branch) Updates & Discussions

I dont have any. These are still just reports and even if it was official it wouldnt be made public. My proof is more or less via via. There are soldiers on duty that are saying they are being mobilized near the Syrian border in great numbers. These are more or less indications what is going to happen. There are already big red flags that make it obvious aswell, the tone of Turkish politicians hasnt changed one bit and infact got even more aggresive. Erdogan still is talking about taking Raqqa even though we lost some ground recently, which simply shows there is an ongoing plan and strategy for Syria. I can bet a hundred euros in the next couple weeks we are going to see a massive Turkish military force entering Syria soon.
Iraq Pesh and the amateur Baghdad government said "The Battle of Mosul" will begin next month. Maybe your country will launch it at the same time because Daesh will not able to handle both countries at the same time?

Maybe your Somali/Eritrean (whichever it is) special forces should help us all

I posted this before but it was only like 30 seconds. This is the full video where they move in to recover an M113 ZPT that took some damage/immobilized.

There are inside reports of thousands of soldiers being mobilized. We are probably going in for reals this time, not just some small strategic force but full fledged invasion.
This first stage might have been done to open a pocket with enough space to deploy units inside Syria from where the invasion gets coordinated, thats at least the most logical thing that comes to my mind.
Such a action must be coordinated with US and Russia and some guarantees must be taken, not even Syrian army is safe from US airstrikes, or aid convoys from Russians, the life of soldiers must be protected well those who think we can do everything on our own are dead wrong.

Why doesn't Turkey plan something to apprehend Baghdadi, the chief of Daesh? Besides, what documents have the Turkish forces captured so far from Daesh? There must be something that discloses who these terrorists are and who their main ally is.

CIA wouldn't allow that :D seriously though, where is this Baghdadi if the CIA, MI6, Mossad, SVR and other services can't find him in those years? It's just plain fishy, just like OBL (pun intended).
There have been raids on houses where isis nutjobs were staying, but i doubt low-ranking isis are in the possession of such documents and instructions that indicate direct foreign involvement as such low-ranked scums truly think they are fighting for a religious mission. Baghdadi and his high-ranking ring need to be found, they should have such links.

If we are to believe that Raqa in Syria is the capital of Daesh, isn't that the place where he should be hiding? I think Turkey should aim for capturing Raqa, that will be the end of this venomous serpent called Baghdadi. Most probably after the capture of Raqa this Baghdadi will go for a gender change and grab a burka or veil in order to avoid capture.

Such an operation has complications like the US insisting on using the ypg and who will control Raqqa on the ground after clearing it of isis.
My opinion is that successfully completing the Euphrates Shield operation, which includes kicking US' pet ypg to the east of the Euphrates, first is of utmost importance.
Anything more than that should depend on our interests

Combat footage from the Sultan Murad brigade in northern Aleppo. Cobras and Turkish soldiers are visible:

why they dont use cobras to hit? looks like people shooting pointless. but first time we heard bullets flying over heads of our soldiers. Allah yardımcıları olsun.

Where is the support fire from tanks, mortars, howitzers?
Where is the support fire from auto cannons?

Looks like shooting in wild west. Are these guys just a bunch of happy amateurs?

There seem to be artillery strikes at 1:22 and 1:34. The rebels still look very amateurish, though. Wonder how they defend those villages when they get attacked. If they act in the same manner, then I'm not suprised about all the recent losses and the ping ponging.
