Turkish Peace Operations in Syria (Operation Olive Branch) Updates & Discussions

What a waste. These DIY platforms are far too unstable to have any meaningful accuracy. They need standard Grad trucks to accuracy shoot Grad rockets.

Those are less mobile and big targets for RuAf. There is also issue of supply, from original luncher they get 3-4 of these DIYs. Sure, if some one would equipped them with 20-30 of standard GRAD trucks and luchers they would use them instead of these.

Even SAA are using similiar DIY platforms and they have russian transport vessels coming almost every month to resuply them with armor and artillery.

SAA DIY rockets are at least 220mm diameter, way bigger than 122mm Grad.

Also, they are based on T-72 chassis which gives them stable platform.

not all. Thats a rarity really. Most are on varuous type of trucks. Also those 220 rocket6s fired from those are DIY rocets, nicknamed Vulcano

Mostly they use computerized fire control which is way more accurate than Grads on pickups. A counterpart would be something like Leopard 2 which Turkey has but won't give to rebels.

No. T90s are still far and few in between. Yesterday one bite the dust in E Idlib. Most SAA tanks are T55 qand T72, old versions. Rebels havwe them too.

Compuiterizied. No. But by sheer superiority in fire power, No of lunchers and rockets and arillery they are able to blanket large swats of ground. And there is RuAF. Norhim more, nothing less. Also SAA and pin point accuracy, lol. HAve you seen their 'liberated' towns, all destroyed, you almost cant find brick on brick still astanding.

You cant just give Leo 2 just like that. There are certain conditions and so fort when yoz buy weapon systems- Germany was making a fit just cfor TSK using them again YPG in Syria. Why do you think engine deal for Altay fell apart in the first place?

That's not T-90. That's T-72B3. Russia has thousands of T-72B3. Also T-90A is getting phased out now that T-90M is in full production.

That's because rebels don't surrender like Germans and Japanese do. They fight to the death to enjoy a good afterlife.

How many kornets do the rebels have right now?

this regime division took a lot of causlties on Latakia front for 6 months. Seems their necs assaigmnet started like the last one. Kabaneh does have differente gheography, easier for defenders, but still... they operated very poorly. Maybe regime is punishing them for Latakia fiasco by sending them to be first connon fodders on W Aleppo to reedem themself. lol

Not a good new for tumbling Syrian Lira.

USD isn't used in Syria so I doubt they care.

Tigers are most effective regtime unit indeed. But much less then their myth. Suhail is Russian favorite and he and his men get the most of russian support in terms of armament, advisors and heaya RuAF CAS.

Oh they care
