Syrian Army captures 2 towns in southeast Idlib amid resumption of offensive

The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) reportedly resumed their offensive in southeastern Idlib after launching a new attack in the area on Friday.

According to early reports from southeastern Idlib, the Syrian Arab Army and their allied militias have captured two towns from the jihadist rebels following a fierce battle on Sunday.

The reports said the Syrian Arab Army captured the towns of Al-Sheikh Dimas and Hantutin near the jihadist stronghold of Kafr Sijnah.

capturing two towns is nothing really, however this advance means that the Turkish intervention didn't change Russia's/Syria's plans much.

How can Syria even fight after all these years of war

Syrian military has ran out of men yet ?

they are totally depleted

because of Iran backed shia terrorists from Lebanon ,Iraq,Yemen,Afghanistan, etc
SAA = around 30.000 troops ...

on the other hand FSA has over 120.000 troops
and FSA beat Assad Regime+Iran+Iran backed terrorist groups Hezbollah , Hashdi Shabi , etc combined
but in 2015 ROUHANI called helping from PUTIN

Iran-Russia killed over 800.000 Syrians to protect one criminal dictator ( who selected Assad to rule Syria ? nobody )

Syria still got enough man to sustain more years of war , After a decade, the kids become a Man and ready to be used as cannon fodder.
Added to it, Shia Fighters/Jihadis from around the Region, mostly from Lebanon/Iraq/Afghanistan, but also a good chunk from Pakistan/Uzbek/Iran

Just a question brother. Why cant Pakistan do anything about these shia terrorists from pakistan going to syria to kill sunnis? It seems pakistan is oblivious to this problem/threat?

the last time I checked (which may have been 1 or more years ago.. not sure) the Syrian army had anywhere between 100k-150k soldiers (not including foreign allied militias like Hezbollah, Iraqis etc... which is around 15k more or less) & while it's true that they have been depleted but remember the other side also has lost alot, not only that but the number of people in government controlled areas is around 13 million so there is quite a large pool to replenish from , if I'm not mistaken the government does not allow men of fighting age to leave Syria, while in Rebel/AlQaeda controlled areas no more than 2 million live there, these civilians are completely demoralized because they are being displaced so Rebels can't replenish as well as the SAA.

1) SAA has max 30.000 troops
2) 80% of Syrian population is sunni muslim and they so hate radical sectarian Assad,Iran and Iran backed shia terrorist groups
3) Syria had 23 million population in 2011 .... over 8 million Syrians moved to Turkey,Iraq,Jordan,Egypt,Lebanon,Europe since 2011 ,,,
there are 4 million Syrians in Idlib
and there are around 2 million Syrians in Turkish Army controlled cities like Afrin,Jarablus,Azaz,Al Bab,Telabyad,Rasulayn, etc

and over 1 million Syrians died since 2011

It is open to debate how serious the military elements of the regime are without the intense support of Iran on the land

Assad Regime forces are far from a military capacity to reclaim all Syrian territory

Turkish Airforce has full of American Weapons like F-16 and F-4 Fighter Jets , Boeing E-7T AEWC , Boeing KC-135 Airrefueling Tanker , C-130 Transport Aircraft , HAWK-XXI Air Defense System

and Turkiye wants to buy PATRIOT Air Defense System since 2013 but President OBAMA did not sell PATRIOT to Turkiye

btw S400 is still game changer weapon against Greece-Egypt-France alliance in the Eastern Mediterranean

so Turkiye can not use PATRIOT against Greece-Egypt-France alliance
and Turkiye can not use S400 against Assad-Russia-Iran alliance

therefore Turkiye needs both PATRIOT and S400
Bearing two enemies on your shoulders and trying to use one against another . Is it a strategy for a country like Turkey ?
Now Turkey suffering for such kind of strategy . No F-35 , no Patriot , loss of service men . Pathetic .
