Besides the superior ASW capabilities, an another main purpose of the Ada-type corvette within the Ukrainian fleet will be the provision of air defense for tactical groups of several missile boats that are built in cooperation with the United Kingdom.

The corvettes will be equipped with eight launchers for anti-ship cruise missiles compatible with domestically made Ukrainian "Neptun" missiles, American Harpoon, Turkish Atmaca, or Norway’s Naval Strike Missiles. The air defense capabilities will be represented by the MICA system from MBDA, and the combat information management system will be the Turkish Havelsan's GENESIS.

The number of Shipyards has risen from 37 to 83 in Turkiye between 2003 and 2020

with a capacity to produce 700,000 tons of steel every year and to build 4.5 million deadweight tons of Ships

not only Warships , but also there are 34 Freight and Container Ships ( 1,6 million DWT ) orders to Turkish shipyards from worldwide


Pakistan : 4 ADA class Corvettes ( signed an agreement for the supply of 4 ADA Class Corvettes on 31.07.2019 and The first ship of the project, BABUR was launched on 15 August 2021.... 3 Ships already were launched )

Ukraine : 4 ADA class Corvettes ( signed an agreement for the supply of 4 ADA Class Corvettes on 14 December 2020 and the MILGEM Corvette Herman Ivan Mazepa (F-211) built for the Ukrainian Navy was launched yesterday )

Turkmenistan : in 2021 Turkish DEARSAN delivered C-92 Corvette to Turkmenistan

Turkish RMK Marine built Chemical Tanker for The UK

Turkey just needs to now focus on developing VLS systems for Frigates and Destroyers which can carry long range land attack cruise missiles if required and air defence missiles if required. Also VLS for Submarines to carry cruise and also VLS for ballistic missiles.

Therefore Egyptian FREMM Frigates have inferior fire power .. ( only 16 SAMs )

Still even if Turkish comes up with its Destroyer with 64 VLS with 32 each for Land Attack Cruise missiles and 32 for Air Defence it would be great. Air Defence ones can be with quad.
