Turkish Naval Programs

so 4 x Ada Class done

and 4 x Istanbul class under construction

and also 4 x TF-2000 planned

but what is the TF-100?
The TF100 is a heavy frigate idea, focused mostly on ASW and deep-land engagement capability, which is planned within the scope of the Turkish navy's future blue water projection. In other words, it is thought to be positioned as very expensive navy platform with a high tonnage.

Because of this approach, the idea of TF100 should be distinguished from class I, a lightweight frigate.The idea of TF-100 will most likely be planned as the next block production of the TF-2000 project. Or MILGEM platform will continue to grow after I class project.

If you ask my opinion, according to the latest official documents about the Turkish AAW destroyer project: The TF-2000 project and the TF-100 target are evaluated in a common platform. The ship's increased weapon configuration, tonnage and modular features of the superstructure indicate that it is aimed at a multi-purpose ship.

In terms of total surface combatant fleet size (all destroyer/frigate/corvettes in asw/asuw/aaw roles), Turkey will become the largest in Europe with great possibility, in the 2035-2040 range. Private shipyards have not yet been included in the frigate and corvette production. After this phase, a rapid acceleration will begin. In addition, ASFAT's Pendik and Alaybey shipyards capacity increase works continues.

As can be seen from the above curve, it is seen as the phase of capability acquisition between 2005 (laid down of first Milgem corvette) and 2025 (first TF-2000). The post-2025 phase will include the transfer of this capacity to private shipyards.

6 Type214-TN (Reis class) will replace the 4 Type209 (Atilay class) until 2026.
I wouldn't exaggerate, when i say Reis class will be the most advanced attack submarine in the Mediterranean.

Modern Torpedos, submarine launched anti ship (Harpoon later ATMACA) and anti air missiles (IDAS), Zoka/Zargana softkill and Tork hardkill torpedo countermeasurment systems.....
Also important to mention is that STM developed a special RAM (radiation absorbent material) coating, which was tested on our Type209 (Gür class) submarines and proved itself in a NATO naval exercise where it managed to sneak up ~500m without getting located and virtually destroyed a Type212A of the Italian Navy.

Ther will be 7 Tf2000....

I know but on his Twitter page he is saying that (his opinion) it is not possible that Turkey will build all 7 TF-2000's until 2035.

If this project moves like Ada class Corvettes his estimation will most likely become reality (unfortunately).
 
The process related to the Ada class corvettes had many different issues. Many of these included Non-Repetitive or First-time-experienced Processes. And many other parts include a tender canceled by political intervention. Trying to form an opinion by looking at Ada corvettes, does not produce accurate analysis. Lets wait I-class for more realistic approach.

Pendik shipyard will start TF-2000 project after the first I-class ship. I-class will be awarded to private shipyards. TF-2000 situation is not clear. while SSB want to transfer other TF2000s to private shipyards , navy want to be carry out in Pendik.

In both cases, at least one shipyard or shipyards union will be able to produce MILGEM frigates. In other words, from 2025-2026 , at least 2 shipyards will have the ability to produce frigates. Also MILGEM-based test and training vessel was launched by the Istanbul shipyard. That is to say, a more-wider-than-expected scenario can be created for 10-15 years later.

Also, for example , Dearsan' new surface platforms(to Turkmenistan , or some works for Azerbaijan and Kazakhistan) or some small shipyard's composite hulls(like Onuk, Ares, etc.) for missile boats are not just as export-oriented. A ready-to-use capacity is forming. This development will show itself from the new fast missile boats(TTHB), to OPV/littorral combatant boats and many other support elements.The only missing point here is to complete the transfer of the I-class to one or more private shipyards.

This plan is actually part of the navy-2033 vision. While the 2033 vision focuses on localization and capability/force projection development, it is almost certain that the vision after 2033 will be about quantitative.

According to the plan we should have been commissioning all of İ-Class by now ,and launching TF-2000 in Pendik Shipyard while laying the keel in private shipyards for other 3 ships.
TCG-Ufuk is another great effort to deliver capabilities, but it smells of politics, since it wasnt anybody else but a shipyard was chosen off the hat.
In my opinion after 2020-2021 we might see ADİK building İ-class together with İstanbul Shipyard they are the closest candidates.

Are Pendik and Istanbul shipyard two different shipyards? Or are you using those names interchangeably and both of them refer to the same shipyard?

It's interesting how many different surface warship families are coming out of the Turkey and, specifically, the MILGEM. Just to add another variable, Pakistan's Jinnah-class itself is a direct development of the Ada, yet it'll overlap in some areas to the initial I-Class concepts (e.g., VLS cells). Moreover, STM has shown different design concepts centered on the Ada, such as the MILGEM CF3500 and its CCT proposal for Brazil.
