Turkish Naval Programs

There are 4 countries with Turkish naval bases and/or local naval base access.

• Northern Cyprus -- fully multipurpose
  
• Albania (Pashalimani) -- submarine/FAC patrol emphasis
  
• Somalia -- strong anti-terror ops/training emphasis
  
• Qatar -- diplomacy/infantry emphasis with army/naval aviation elements

N-cyprus and Albania are in same the geographical area... so it counts as one...
Important bases are Somalia and Qatar.

HMS Ocean... She's already about 20 years old (commissioned in 1998). Apparently Brazil also wants her for their navy. If Turkey does indeed manage to acquire it, how many more years of service do you guys reckon we can get out of it?

Turkey should have the UK bundle together a deal including the RR engine for TFX, HMS Ocean LHD and assistance with TF2000 to make it be based on the Type 45/Daring class.

Well it's not a TV... you can refurbish it a little to extent the lifetime... not a big deal to extend it for years... only money is needed...

Only Q is...will they change some/all sub sys with Indegenious ones or keep them...
This purchase could be an interesting "testing" platform for new tech... since it's going to the end...

They're replacing it with a carrier and don't wanna spend the money to keep both in service.

We gonna use it at mediterranean sea to keeping gas sources. All the eyes on mediterranean sea because of gas. Syrian war american efforts, Lebanon israel war, saudis support of israel, greek egypt israel naval coalition all related about gas sources. There are large gas sources compare to our supposes.

Uk support Turkey to get some piece from cake so urgent sales of LHD and more is possible.

Other point US forcing saudis for their future plan they has to be surrender US and be secular country or US gonna use iran card for destroy ME against saudis.

we establish military bases at Qatar, Somali and sudan to protect Macca Madine from iran and US threat so we need more LHD and naval force for all possible missions.
