Is there just one shipyard building the blocks ? Or a few of them ?

Block building construction is something Turkey needs to get good at if it wants to start large warship building

The co ordination, timing and synchronised building of blocks is something you can't learn until you have done it yourself

Is there any info on a second unit ?

Bro. If we want to export warships we need ccordination and very effective capacity use.
I heard that we proposed KSA and Pakistan the two ADA-class, almost raedy, for urgent needs.
This would mean that also Turkey would decide for I-class and keep only two Ada-class or force development or production of X-TF4500.

ASELSAN's new lightweight torpedo is designed to be thrown overboard, onboard and in flight. The threshold of the truly modern technology for RADAR has been exceeded. All kinds of radar production are being developed rapidly. HVKK is targeting 600km range in the next generation mobile radar project. : Shock: In the Aselsan ÇAFRAD project, after 4 years in line, they aim for final product delivery and plan for scalable variations for different platforms. KALKAN radar is produced with the reflection of innovations both in performance and mechanically improved and lightened version.

That would be great. Turkey is a true blood brother. Build 4 ADA class and give 2 to brother countries for immediate use. Just like in a family, if a brother has four biscuits he gives some to younger brothers.

Pakistan and Turkey should exchange technology wherever possible. We should also establish joint Universities and Space Program.

No, you misunderstood. All ships for Pak Navy will be produced in Karachi shipyard with "packages" from Turkey.
It was the wish of Pak Navy to get asap new ships. Don't worry we are cooperating since decades, but you are right it has to be much more and on all levels.

MUGLA, Turkey

The Turkish chief of General Staff joined and followed night exercises of Turkish Navy late Monday, as part of the Denizkurdu 2017 military exercises.

Gen. Hulusi Akar, together with other members of the top brass, including the Commander of the Land Forces Gen. Salih Zeki Colak and Commander of the Naval Forces Adm. Bulent Bostanoglu, observed a night-time artillery exercise from the frigate TCG Kemalreis stationed offshore of Marmaris in Turkey's western Mugla province.

Tuesday has been marked as the “distinguished observer’s day” of Denizkurdu -- or Sea Wolf -- and 21 military attaches from 19 countries are following the exercises together with top command of the Turkish military.

In his address at the event, Akar said every military exercise done by Turkish Armed Forces is conducted in accordance with international law.

“As armed forces, all our actions are directed towards building good relations with our neighboring countries and sustaining peace and friendship,” Akar said.

He said Turkey's fight against terror was continuing within Turkey and across its borders in Syria and Iraq.

"Operations to fight with terrorists of PKK/PYD/YPG and also FETO and Daesh will continue until the last terrorist is neutralized," Akar stressed.

The PKK -- listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the U.S. and the EU -- resumed its armed campaign against Turkey in July 2015.

Since then, it has been responsible for the deaths of some 1,200 Turkish security personnel and civilians, including a number of women and children.

In addition, the Fetullah Terrorist Organization (FETO) is blamed for the July 2016 defeated coup, which left 250 martyrs and some 2,200 injured.

Denizkurdu military exercises are the biggest exercises of Turkish Navy and are held every two years.

Nearly 80 vessels are taking part in the exercise, which started on May 13 and runs to Friday.

Fourteen frigates, five corvettes, 15 storm boats, eight submarines, six mine hunting vessels, 13 logistical support ships, four patrol vessels, four sea maritime patrol aircrafts, 19 naval helicopters, seven underwater demolitions teams, two underwater defense teams from the navy are participating while a search and rescue ship, eight other boats and a helicopter from the coast guard are taking part.

The Turkish Air Force also carried out flights.
