Now let us back track, what was the guesstimated range of bora? 800 km? We know SOM cruise missile versions should reach 2500 km. But to add to the confusion look what someone put on Wikipedia:

Article simply says Turkey can't buy missiles with greater range than 300 and can't buy the required technology for aforsaid missiles with that range because of MTCR. But we didn't buy anything like that, based on Yıldırıms we developed it to a greater range. With some help from outside under the table? Probably yes, doesn't matter who, Pakistan, China or Cambodia but the fact is nobody will tell it. So unless SSM make an official announcement everything we assume here will be nothing but bla-bla-bla.

Well, SOM ALCM's range is also 300km but from cabatli's posts trials show ranges as far as 500km if I recall correctly. Of course it is longer than 300km but judging by its size and width, it could be 500 to 900km or just 300km. We don't know the warhead type right? Lets just give some time to our engineers.

I don't know about the rest, but there is guidance kit that has both Laser and GPS integrated.

I know but a missile of that type wouldn't use a laser seeker at all.

Turkish Aselsan produces Laser and Fiber Optic Gyros for INS which can be used for missile guidance. It seems to be a misunderstanding in Aydinlik. On the other hand many so called experts claimed BORA to be a wide range AD system. Habertürk defence editor G.S made himself ridicilous and was topic of Palavra Detektör.

MTCR is obsolete. Poland received JASSM-ER missiles from the USA with 1000 km range.
MTCR never restricted indigenious development but tech sales only.
