Libyan Air Force under the Government of National Accord carried out multiple Drone attacks on Al-Jufra Airbase in central Libya , destroying an ammunition depot and Ilyushin Il-76 transport aircrafts for warlord Khalifa Haftar’s armed groups.

an air defence system was also destroyed in the air raids July 26, 2019

NEURON UCAV will be in service by 2030 and Turkey also develops TAI GOKSUNGUR and Baykar MIUS supersonic UCAVs

The UK , France , Italy uses American MQ- 9 Reaper UCAV
and The MaleEURO is under development , in service by 2025 ( planned )

on the other hand AKINCI UCAV which can carry SATCOM , AESA Radar , SOM Cruise Missile will be in service by 2020-2021

HALUK BAYRAKTAR ( General Manager at Baykar ) says AKINCI UCAV will carry indigenous air to air missiles

between 3:29 and 3:38 but in Turkish language



The Undersecretariat for Defence Industries (SSM) shared a picture showing the characteristics of AKINCI UCAV from its official twitter account

AKINCI UCAV will carry MAM-L , BOZOK , CIRIT , LGK , HGK , KGK and SOM-A Cruise Missile for air to ground attack mission

SOM will not have a range of 280kms being launched from a platform that doesn't go faster than 300km/h

SOM is missile which use turbojet engine , not a glide bomb

SOM traveled 800km range hi-hi-low flight profile in 2014 with modified TRI-40 turbojet engine
soon SOM will be powered by indigenous KALE KTJ-3200 turbojet engine , that means no any MTCR restrictions

its basic physics, missile will need to burn more fuel to reach its cruising speed, launching from a platform that only flies at speeds of around 200 km/h will require burning more fuel than launching from a platform that can fly at or near supersonic speeds. An F-16 will also need to launch SOM at maximum possible altitude to reach the range of 280kms.

Actually cruise missiles greatly rely on gliding towards ground to reach its needed cruising speed, that is why cruise missile range also greatly depends at which altitude its launched from, gliding + launching from a platform that is already traveling at high speed allows to conserve fuel, as the missile does not require acceleration but maintaining constant speed.

You have no idea about either the physics or the SOM missile. First tell us how much fuel is carried by the missile? and what are the parameters that influence the range of the missile and what do you know about them?

I can only guess as I don't know the fuel capacity or the efficiency of the engine, but if I had to guess, since the missile needs to more than quadruple its speed, it will most likely have to sacrifice more than 50kms of range.
