Wouldn't something like an S-Tank be useful? It has a very low profile and would work well when operating with earth fortifications as we do now. I think in an urban environment it would be a better design than conventional tanks because the gun is only a little longer than the vehicle itself allowing it to maneuver into firing position better.

Look at its profile next to an M-113. The S tank is only 1.9 m high compared to the M-60 with a height of 3.213 meters and the Altay with a height of 2.6 meters.

If you equipped a similar design with a RCWS+ATGM's and APS you would have an amazing vehicle

Normally the tank because of the nature of its design can not shoot on the move but the ATGM allows for that, besides how often are tanks firing at each other on the move?

Anyway just so that I am clear, I am not saying that a turretless tank should completely replace conventional tanks but having some would be a good idea because they are perfect for the current war we are fighting in Syria. For this purpose it can have a smaller gun so that you can have heavier armor.

I think many diffrent styles of weapon system can give you an edge if you combine them.. thats why I would use a limited number of those but the problem is you would need a new weapon system and it would be costly for so many different weapons.. one thing I would add to your idea is a full auto 40mm granadelauncher and at least 4 hellfire alike rockets

but would not kaplan with some granade launcher and atgm be a possible better replace for your idea? as I think kaplan has ha height of ~ 2M

Most tragic part is there are around 6 to 8 MRAP only being offered by various Turkish companies. Also every second Turkish company is offering APC both wheeled as well as tracked but still our Armed Forces and Police are using failures as Muhafiz and old APC based on M113. We need new beasts from Turkey.

For whom interested design of future tracked weapon carrier vehicle under 10 tons.

Here is the American style BMD.

İlk prototip olan Kaplan 10 sta motoru arkada diye beğenilmemişti.

The M114 Command and Reconnaissance Carrier is a Vietnam War-era tracked armored fighting vehicle, used by the United States Army. It was manufactured by the Cadillac Division of General Motors in the early 1960s.

The M114 was designed to be fast and stealthy. Like the larger M113, it was amphibious and could be deployed by parachute. However unlike the M113 which became one of the most successful armoured vehicles, it quickly proved unsuited to use in the Vietnam war, and was replaced in the reconnaissance role by the M551 Sheridan light tank. By 1973, it had been branded a failure and retired by the US Army, but some released as surplus continue to be used by police departments.

Turkish automotive industry has matured enough to be able to offer such vehicles, of course it didn't just happen over night - partnerships formed with foreign industry years ago Otokar-General Motors ,BMC-Hatehof and Nurol-Industry Co Inc are few of the examples.. Pakistan would do good to form partnerships and produce high quality vehicles, or perhaps since the market is so flooded, select a vehicle with good offsets and export license..
