Turkish future experimantal weapon concepts

Büyük Veri, Yapay Zeka, Otonomi, Robotik Sistemler ve Karar Destek Sistemleri (BYORK)

An animated film depicting the digitized battlefield after 20 years, focusing on ASELSAN's future projections for Big Data, Artificial Intelligence, Autonomy, Robotic Systems and Decision Support Systems (BYORK).

My opinion:
ASELSAN's advanced war systems concept on the battlefield and perhaps what they want to do in the future.

MKEK should start researching this ASAP

Hisar-O inside a Torpedo fires from a submarine; 50,000k altitude and 25 km range will make it highly potent defense against ASW helicopters and even MPA.

if the submarine also uses a small UAV launched from the submarine; and the UAV is equipped with a decent EO/IR sensor and a small AESA radar, it could be enough to guide the missile to the aircraft.

Finally if the UAV is linked to the submarine via a datalink on a tethered buoy, the submarine could stay deeply submerged and still effectively track (via the drone) and engage the enemy aircraft(s) from a safe depth.

All the elements exist, someone just needs to put the kill chain together and you have a total change in how counter-ASW is done. The submarine will go from the hunted to the hunter, and can even risk more littoral missions without fear of enemy ASW attacking them.

Imagine if this plane was built and overtime we would have our own stealth bombers!!!

We were on the brink of installing a turbojet engine on it, after initial gliding tests were complete. However we all know what happened in the 50s...

Another interesting project was this: http://all-aero.com/index.php/55-planes-t-u/9930-thk-thk-11-

We could have easily started producing advanced aircraft by the mid 50s if we continued...

Traitors all cancelled it. Politicians are all a bunch of assholes. Who in their mind thought being dependant on another country would be the way to go.

It is said the Turkish military despite many programs getting cancelled still kept a lot of them incase if we have to build our own shit when the time comes.

But man the Turkish defence industry lost a lot of years and potential due to short sight of various politicians who thought buying was the way to go.

Not just menderes even Ismet inonu laid the foundations of being dependant on another country for our defence.

1974 Cyprus crisis was the last straw where politicians now realised the defence of the nation cant be relied on another nation.

But it took ages what a shame.

Feel free to upload your own designs and drawings, or describe a weapon or vehicle which you think would benefit the Turkish army.

You can also upload existing concepts.

Don't be afraid to push the boundaries.

Can Turkish Defence Industry produce active protection system against incoming missiles using laser technology. This system is very useful to protect land based vehicle (armored vehicle, tanks etc), planes (fighter jets, helicopters etc) , naval fleets (warships, frigates etc) or strategic assets (airfield, command center etc).

Search for Akkor and Polat.

you can put the laser system on planes as DMFR(something like that), Turkey is super advance in Laser technology, i would say one of 4 countries in the world. They can change the use of it in the future and obviously thinking about it a there are some other options, because they always look at other projects too

I'd like to see F-35 hit by some fast, air-to-air combat capable drones :D

In my opinion we should build two types of fast drones.

One which is heavier and with strong airstrike capabilities (maybe even CAS) and one which is specifically built to be stealthy which picks out air targets from a distance.

In my opinion this is the best way to go.

Light-midweight loitering bombers: TB2 & Anka
Mid-heavyweight loitering bombers: Akinci & Aksungur
Anti-submarine: Aksungur
Anti-ship: ??
Interdictor: Goksungur?
Air superiority fighter: MIUS?

Imagine the reaction of media if that actually happens :D

NAZAR Laser Electronic Attack System
NAZAR TM Doped Fiber Laser Development Project, which was launched by Meteksan Defense in 2016 within the scope of the needs of the Navy and officially shared by the Defense Industry Directorate (SSB) for the first time; It covers the design and development of the basic technology of this laser source with a laser source that can be used for electronic attack (EH) against threats. Considering that the project has been developed within the scope of the needs of the Naval Command, it is estimated that the NAZAR System will be stationed.

The complex system to be produced within the scope of the NAZAR Project is thought to be similar to the systems called “Directional Infrared Countermeasures (DIRCM)”, or “Directed Infrared Measures” in the international literature. DIRCM Systems; the platforms to which they are connected; They protect against missile threats with Electro Optics (EO), Infrared (IR) and Imager Infrared (IIR) Seeker Head. These threats; it can be “Air Defense Missile” for an air platform, and “Cruise Missile” or “Gemisavar Guided Missile” for land and sea platforms.
NAZAR.mp4

The target missile with EO / IR / IIR guidance that threatens the platform to which DIRCM is attached is detected by the warning receiver system and the laser source is directed towards the target. As a result of the laser system blinding the target's IR / IIR coil, the missile loses its guidance system and thus becomes uncontrolled.

Worldwide; DIRCM systems, manufactured by companies such as Northrop Grumman (AN / AAQ-24 (V)), Leonardo (Miysis) and Elbit Systems (MUSIC), currently protect many air platforms, but similar systems for marine platforms are not available in the literature. Such a high-tech system, developed by Turkey which has never before been disclosed, for the first time the Defense Industry Department (SSB) was given information about the project with a video prepared by NAZARI. With the NAZAR project, our country will have achieved a first in the field of DIRICM.

In the future i hope our big uavs akinci and aksungur will attack to enemy in swarm attack mode with the secure of small fast drones capable of aircombat .
We will have everything we need in few years.
We have 4 awacs , akinci and aksungur
We will have jet powered uavs, göktuğ missile family with two way data link which gives ability to use the same method we used to hit syrian su24s.
Jet powered uav can fire missile using datas which are given from awacs and can share it with missile and at terminal phase missile will use its own radar.
I am sure we are capable to do it.
