According to the Turkish Armed Forces Website The Frigate TCG Gelibolu (F-493) has left Muskat (Oman) and is now headed towards Karachi (Pakistan) as part of its mission in the Arabian Sea. The Head of The Turkish Navy Admiral Recep Bulent Bostanoglu and his accompanying delegation are on the ship.

TCG GELİBOLU (F–493) Basra Körfezi ve Arap Denizi bölge ülkeleri ile ikili ilişkilerin geliştirilmesi ve Deniz Kuvvetleri ile ortak eğitimler kapsamında Muskat / Umman liman ziyaretini tamamlamış olup, Karachi / Pakistan'a intikale devam etmiştir.
