Turkish Engine Programs

TEI CEO Mahmut Akshit announced that TEI produce TJ-90 Turbojet engines with 3D printing.. WHich is fast to produce, way cheaper and also stronger than the normal engines... He also mentioned that, some of other parts of big engines are manufactured by these 3D printers...
Good job Turkey! keep it up...

Enhanced Ecotorq Motor developed by OTOSAN engineers, expected to be introduced into 2016 Ford Cargo trucks

Ford Otosan is not turkish Company. It is owned by Ford Motor Company (50%) and Koc Holding (50%)

The products of Ford Otosan are light and heavy duty vehicles mainly for EXPORT.

the bad Thing is producing cheap and exporting for Dollar currency makes turkish lira Inflation rise quickly.

Turkish Inflation is because of less internal consumption and too much cheap Export products for Dollars.

Koc Holding getting rich, while the TL savings of ordinary turkish citizens shrink through enflasyon.

enflasyon-2015-01.png
I dont understand what you mean with that? So, exporting domestic products brings inflation? you say that it is a bad thing?
I think, it is good that it brings Dollars currency into the country....

With 9% inflation rate, export means economical disaster.

Koc holding exporting 90% of their vehicles and earning dollars through weak turkish lira.

Later they give dollars as credits to poor turks for huge interest rates. With further devaluation of the turkish lira, the debitors get serious trouble paying back their dollar debts. Because they earn turkish lira.

Koc holding iç piyasada iş yapan esnafi bankalarla soyuyor. Ondan öyle zenginler.

This is realy realy bad for turkish economy

That arguments are poor. All strong countries are export oriented growing. Domestic consume is not important. Only for wealth of people and their happiness and if it not based on imported consumer goods.

The company is also gaining new technological abilities on its way to becoming a complete engine manufacturer with improved part manufacturing activities. These include Blisk-Spool production that requires completely different and critical manufacturing technology. A blisk agreement with GE to machine parts for the new LEAP (Leading Edge Aviation Propulsion) engine to replace less efficient engines for Boeing and Airbus single-aisle aircraft requires parts machined from forged blanks and friction welded at TEI’s facility.

They just modifiying it, i do not understand why people are awaiting from TEI to develop Planes & Engines, they would need a subsidiary which will can supply them with Engines, but not they cannot do anything on their Own.

It would be unfair to expect TEI to produce the engine from a to z. Thielert used to do the same. (Buying Mercedez engines and tuning them to working in high altitudes.

Very exciting bro... :) Negotiations still on going with SSM on the technical specs of the engine. Surely this project is connected with LAHIKA-A. Hope they can sign a contract within this year.
