You only import 25 billion from china.Thats 1% of chinas total export. They dont care you. Right now we are under US sanction. We need allies, strategic partners. You cant make things balanced only with money. If you cant sell more than you bought then send students to china, learn their engineering skils. Make tech transfer deals.

So China subsidizes certain manufacturers and industries...just like we do? China enacts taxes on imports to protect Chinese businesses...just like we do? And that's bad when others do to us what we do to others? Um. Can't wait to see how it works out in the long term.

TL vs Chinese Yuan
Soon 1 TL= 1 RMB.

the trade unbalance between Turkey and China naturally plays a role in the depreciation of Lira vs RMB, but it cannot be the sole factor for the decline. Instead it is probably more to do with the fact the Lira has depreciated massively against USD and the value parity between USD and RMB remains unchanged. Exchange rate is no longer just a bilateral issue but a multinational one.

So we must look at the trade balance before U.S pressure on Turkish Lira. Can some one show us the trade deficit between Turkey and China in last 10 years. With a link please.

It should be much less than the trade deficit Turkey has with Germany.

China turkey business volume is just peanut compared with whole Chinese business volume

China has always had trade surplus against Turkey.
TL is losing value against not only USD. It also loses value against almost all foreign currencies, even the war torn Syria .

The black line is the USD DXY against world currencies. As you see, USD value has not changed much.

This is the Syrian Pound against TL:

Now, since TL equals to almost an RMB, i am sure more Chinese tourists will come to Turkey. But it wont add much to the macro economy of Turkey. That is, the more quantity will bring the less income.

Seldom Chinese go to turkey, So it is reasonable you have no idea what Chinese tourists can boost Turkish Turkish economy

You can ask the opinion of West Europe countries or your government which have done thoroughly research ,maybe they can give you a right idea

Chinese tourists in Australia: book via Chinese tour operators, travel using Chinese airlines, stay at cheaper hotels or serviced apartments, eat at cheap local-Chinese run/owned restaurants, travel using local-Chinese run/owned bus operators, spend minimal on Australian goods... we must get the peasants if Europe truly has many positives about the Chinese. Chinese students however pay big tuition fees at our universities. Huge fees!

In china usa trade war, tourism is one of the large sectors USA benefit from china.

China is one of the fastest-growing inbound travel markets to the United States. The U.S. travel exports to China were valued at 33 billion U.S. dollars in 2016, and Chinese residents took 3million trips to the United States in that year, according to the U.S. Travel Association's report in March this year.
China is also the country with the highest average spending in the United States, according to the organization. Per Chinese visitor spent, on average, 6,900 dollars in 2016, more than those of any other major inbound market.

if USA ,West Europe,Spain,Italy can benefit from Chinese tourists, maybe turkey should learn from them

I have no appetite to waste time to persuade some foolish guy

Market Opportunity is open to every country
Smart one find it,grab it and benefit from it
Stupid one neglect it,ignore it and complain it

Apparently selling for that cheap "IS NOT ACCEPTABLE"!! You imbeciles! What is it to YOU HUH??? He should be able to sell his goods at any price he fucking wishes! It is called "free markets" for a fvcking reason!

Sons of bıtches! Men with rotten blood! They can not compete in their own sector and they fvcking open lawsuits against their competitors for being "far too competitive"!!!

And this communist scum of a government approves that corrupt claim!!

THIS IS WHY WE CAN NOT HAVE GOOD THINGS IN ECONOMY, BECAUSE THOSE WHO INCREASE THE ECONOMIC EFFICIENCY OF THE COUNTRY ARE PUNISHED BY THE COMMUNIST ERDOGAN REGIME!

The key thing is that these “Chinese” tour operators, “Chinese” restaurants, “Chinese” hotels, “Chinese” bus operators are all Australian businesses and are paying tax to the Australian government. They are part of Australian economy, not the economy of China. In exactly the same way in Turkey, any of these “Chinese” tourism businesses will be Turkish businesses and contribute to Turkish economy.
