are the base values dollars or liras ?
This doesnt even matter, the real growth will stay the same whether in Lira or Dollar, i dont think the excanche rate is being counted when calculating GDP growth since the data wouldnt make sense.

Economic Growth of Turkey 1923-2014 under each government.

Among the single party ruled governments AKP has the worst performance.

This is too simplistic. It's much more complicated than that.

Huge border instability (2003 invasion of Iraq > 2011) with the loss of a country very potentially importer.

Historical financial crisis of 2008 (Worthy of the global crisis of 1929 which led to the Second World War and humanity to the brink of nothingness) with dizzying drop in global growth, elsewhere in the world is still not recovered to this day (End 2015).

Civil war in Syria from 2011 with a huge influx of population and even loss another importing country.

Worldwide economic sanctions against Iran for its nuclear program (2010 > now).

In front all these complete and extremely destabilizing events, needed really hook on and it is not given to everyone moreover for a country without any natural resources (Cash reserves).

We had...other problems in the other eras.... like between 1923-1950...just raised from the ashes of Ottoman Empire. whole country devastated, lost 1/3 of the population., WW2.
İn other eras...3 coups, 1974 Cyprus war, embargoes...leftist,rightist clashes, economics crisis, Iraq-Iran war....and so on.

Also huge 1999 earthquake with 30'000 dead and big crisis in 2001.

Yes but the 2008 crisis is incomparably unique to all levels of all the world events of the past.

It literally dried up and paralyzed global investments in a totally globalized world economically. The world will long time to recover.

See the state of European growth (1 to 1,5%). The United States (4,5 %) will come in as through the extraction of natural resources and the illusion of consumer credit that boosts virtually his growth.

Even that of China - Flourishing before - stagnated dangerously around 7,5% of the breaking point for the survival of the system.

How can anyone take you seriously!

I couldn't care less if someone like you take me serious or not. Just wanted to say what you call as a lie just because it happens to be against your Sultan in that particular case, is actually a science.

So let's be rigorous and impartial in the analysis. What honest ! The facts are the facts, true. Without any personal emotional opinion. It's possible ? I doubt...

Oh something else. Whether you like it or not, it is the government, and only him, who signs the military budjet (Including R&D funding) - every year - and appoint great priorities nobody else.
