What's new

Turkish Defence industry video

Yeah right, you're like a broken record.. Turkey is going to do that, Turkey is going to do this.. Man.. India has done it already. DO YOU COMPRENDE ? .... I've provided the links go a page back.. look at them..

Also I suggest you take a look at your own attitude, before having the gall to say silly things like the above..

Since you "know what they got", you should know this already, no ?
One things that i cant accept are cocky people.. not a single source and still talking! i might give me better ideas instead of replies three time in each message...
Anyway, enjoy your day..

Beyler, relax!
There is really no need to let each others blood pressure rise using tones like that.
For the last couple of posts, I've smilingly entered this thread each times there has been unread posts, with hopes of getting to read news about new weapons and technologies of our defense industry. Yet, what did I get to see each time? Two brothers who are 5 seconds from strangling each other because of nothing...

You know nothing of what you say, it's apparent in every post since your join date.. Links were provided on the first page, you dismissed them. Now you have the audacity to call me cocky..

And a good day to you too.. :D

Everything is fine, people shouldn't overestimate Turkey's' capacity and underestimate (Russia and India) larger countries who've been building up their industry long before Turkey even got a foothold..

a real man tell everything to the face, not keeping it secret from the "join date"... shame on you that acting like a kid over here! you got words, you are welcome to share and discuss, but never ever play games with me. its not a kinder garden.. i respect you, as you share some good stuff in Turkish army forum, but you better not to pass the red lines..

Both of you are respected brothers who have contributed with great information, knowledge and material to this sub-forum - and many thanks for doing that! - and it would be a real pain to see any of you getting banned or if you guys decided to not visit this place anymore - all because of some dispute between the two of you. Don't get me wrong, I'm fully aware of that I'm not a moderator or anyone who have the right to tell you guys what to do and I don't mean to disrespect you guys in any way, but please lets just put the thread back on the rails, for everyone's good :)

Saygilar,
me

A country of 70 million has a FAR MORE advanced defense industry than a country of 1.2 billion. If India has to catch up with the best in the world then it needs to lock down its defense PSUs and invest in the private sector.

Oh shutup already boy

India has done it already.

They haven't "done it" with most of the projects you listed unless you consider delivering failed projects decades late to be "doing it". Their army doesn't even want their tank and only bought token quantities to save face. Same for their fighter jet. Their AESA radar has apparently existed for a while but they use foreign radars instead. The Kaveri fighter engine is a failure and has been abandoned. The Dhruv could be considered successful but even that has a poor record of crashes.

Just becuase they made attempts at these things doesn't mean that's a good thing. We should be glad the Turkish defence industry doesn't "do it" like this.

The industry of the Indian indigenous defense, for its lack of rigor and quality in his work, it is a real disaster.

HAL Tejas

Thanks god, there are still people who understands me!!! I definitely agree with you!! Turkey chose to go with German road. They strongly care about quality and indigenous products. As they are also familiar with new products, they know what they exactly want, and how to get there.. things will become easier for Turkey, year by year!! as they have new place to build bigger radars, engine manufacturing facilities and on and on..

I've confronted you a couple times on your trolling behaviour picking fights with people and turning threads into a mush pit.. :-) don't you remember Altay thread?

Thanks, I'll continue to share.. Alls good :)
I wanted to ease the situation, but seems like you dont deserve it! now go to play with your video games.. unless you be able to bring something in the table..
sharing the threads but without the checking inside of it, you dont really bring any proof. Anyway, i couldnt expect more from the guy, who hang around with Armenian flag...

They have done it, they have the technology, doesn't matter about the state of it. They've got technology Turkey does not. That is my point.

Their army doesn't even want their tank and only bought token quantities to save face. Same for their fighter jet.

And same point from me aswell.. They are continuing to develop and improve..

Their AESA radar has apparently existed for a while but they use foreign radars instead.

Yes. Just like in the case of F-22 or F-35, their radars also existed before the aircraft was complete.
Indians are waiting to integrate their AESA radars for Tejas Mk2 and their upcoming 5th generation aircrafts..

The Kaveri fighter engine is a failure and has been abandoned.

That project has transitioned into another project, the tech and know-how is gained... Does Turkey even have one ounce engine technology? No. While the indians are producing their own engines and selling their own helicopters, you lot are brash enough to criticise their defence industry..

The Dhruv could be considered successful but even that has a poor record of crashes.

I'd put that down to training, Indians crash often even with reliable Russian tech

Just becuase they made attempts at these things doesn't mean that's a good thing. We should be glad the Turkish defence industry doesn't "do it" like this.

It does, every attempt gains know-how.. They can afford to risk it, Turkey cannot. As was proven in many indigenous projects which failed and was scrapped by Turkey. What Turkey is doing is building up their know-how with T-T, co-production and IP rights. Something the Indians have not done often.

I'd like to point out some very successful tech Indians have produced, you lot are painting them in a very bad light. That should not be the case, we should congratulate them on developing tech Turkey wished it had.

Having the tech is not enough. You also need to apply it. India is trying to create a main battle tank for ages. I believe it is called Arjunk. It was started decades before the Altay tank and it still is not finished because of structural issues. You can have the knowledge but if you can't apply it it is useless.
