Isik: Armed Hurkus-C will join into inventory of HvKK and KKK in 2017.
Isik: 2017 will be a special year for Armed Anka to be delivered for TSK, JGK and EGM.
Isn't Hurkus B joining in 2018? Let's see what happens. Hurkus B is already later than expected. Atleast Hurkus C has the right paint job. It is expected to fire cirit in may, but then there are other munitions to test....

I know to add 2 years to every release date!!!

I just noticed that the upper variant in Hurkus-c, has the winglets and same decal with hurkus-b.
Maybe some misleading information in the picture?

Afaik there is no such thing as a Hurkus-C.

Hurkus-A is civil variant, Hurkus-B will be military variant. If/when B version is able to be armed and used as cheap COIN plane then it becomes C. Unless they change designs ofc.

What you are seeing are the different stages of development..

Here's a good pic of winglets they were experimenting with;

It looks like it.

I thought the same, a change in design carried out by extra equipments.

Pakistan shows the pathyway for developing countries

Sometimes I think Turkey is still living in 20th century.
Why insisting on Hurkus - C ?
For Coin ops in the homeland ?
In real combat environment it will be food.

Cos its cheap and always in use
This platform solely developed for pilot training but it is also usefull for close air support since terrorists doesnt have anti air weapons,
With its low speed, it can also be usefull to detect UAVs and carry out manned Cas operations cheaply,
Now, an Uav of ours can not carry that much of weapon but we have the capability of detecting with them,so they can just detectd and Hurkus can hit for cheap

Turkey expects to take delivery of its first Lockheed Martin F-35 fighter jets in 2019, Turkish Defence Industries Undersecretary Ismail Demir told broadcaster NTV on Monday.

That was reported by reuters.com.

Under the Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) program, Turkey has committed to procure a total of 116 aircraft. Turkey placed its first Lockheed Martin F-35 fighter jets order in 2014 under its low-rate initial production 10 program.

Turkey’s procurement and military officials are hoping to build a new-generation, dual-fighter jet fleet by their country’s centennial, 2023, comprising of the F-35 and an indigenous aircraft, known as TFX, that Ankara has been designing.
