The Freedom Trainer was designed around twin Williams FJ44-4M engines, making the Freedom Trainer far more economical to buy and operate than its competitors. SNC worked with Aviation Week & Space Technology, the premier defense industry magazine, to reveal the Freedom Trainer that was been in work secretly for more than a year.

Turkish Technic signs 5-year defense contract
Turkish Technic will provide maintenance services for military command and control aircraft

ANKARA

Turkish Technic, the maintenance arm of Turkish Airlines, has signed a service contracts with the country’s air force, the company said on Friday.

Turkish Technic said the firm had signed a deal with the Undersecretariat for Defense Industries (SSM) to provide logistic support services, planned maintenance and repairs for six command and control aircraft.

The agreement will be valid for five years.

"With this logistic support project, the highly experienced national company Turkish Technic will provide an efficient and speedy supply chain to ensure that our aircraft are constantly kept in readiness for duty," said Ismail Demir, Undersecretary for Defense Industries.

Demir also stated that these achievements would be developed on similar projects and provide greater contributions to the country's defense and economy.

"Our goal is to strengthen the company's solid position in the region by providing innovative and continuously developable solutions to meet the needs of both the Turkish defense industry and the Turkish Armed Forces," said Ahmet Karaman, general manager at Turkish Technic.

Turkish Technic, which is a Turkish Airlines company, provides services to the various airlines in Turkey, Europe, Middle East, Asia and Africa with over 6,500 personnel.

Turkish Airlines, the country's national flag carrier, flies to around 300 destinations worldwide with more than 330 planes.

Operating cost for Hurkus C will be low, current operating cost for F-16 is about $22,000 an hour, a Super Tucano is $1000. The Hurkus C will save us a lot money when bombing PKK.

bro no need to risk our pilots. uavs/ucavs can do that. lower operational cost + longer flight time.
