True, the concept didnt even existed until The Ottoman Turks called it Kurdistan, so it is basically a Turkic name as u can see the word "istan" is turkic word.

But even then i wouldnt call it Kurdistan after all the hostilities, its not a wise thing to do because it might solve the Kurdish question but this time it would start a Turkic question..

Ottoman Turk, if you are Turk, you cant be Ottoman. If you are Ottoman, you cant be Turk.

Brother, this is the truth, Ottoman means Sunni Muslim. And in Islam, nationalism is forbidden, there is only one culture, which is Arabic. Simple as that.
