I hope the situation with our guys is "Calm before the storm". Otherwise I will be very disappointed. Lets see what are going to be the news from the MGK meeting.
Preferably all of this is done without any bloodshed, the risk lies in the Peshmerga opening fire on Iraqi troops and Iraqi troops responding. Once that spark ignites we won't know what command of both sides will do and what it will take to stop. Even if Abadi calls for it to stop it'll take a while before the whole of chain of command gets it, and let alone the PMU who have so many factions present in Kirkuk and they are 'semi-independent'.
Maybe better if Turkey is involved, Pesh will not open fire on you as quickly given the larger difference in power balance they're aware of. The ISF troops in Mosul are fresh from the Mosul battle and have been battle hardened, whilst a part of the population in Iraq are against these tensions and possible war.
