For those who requested.

They say PMU and ISF retreat from the highway to the taza town ? Is that true ? Looks like everyone is arming inside Kirkuk ! I hope ıt woudnt be like Mosul in the end !

Oh...Irak don't like PKK's presence now ? How ironic.

The fact that Turkey dont like KRG now is not less ironic BTW. Keep the friendly tone and never forget that Turkey was one of their biggest supporters and if Turkey acted like it should act now we were not going to watch any of these things.

Not at all. Irak tolerated PKK in kandil for decade before Turkey start to have relationship with KRG. Relationship with KRG was a pay back against Irak....and if today Irak don't like PKK presence this is because KRG is stronger thank to Turkey.
Without KRG problem, Irak would have continued with their coward policy to PKK.

While KRG is potentiel menace to Turkey, they are definitly a true menace to Irak, so Irak should work with Turkey against PKK, if they want Turkey help against KRG.

PKK repeatedly attacks Turkmen offices and buildings in Kirkuk, who are they trying to bullshit?

You are telling me that Iraq is bigger supporter for PKK than KRG? Are you kidding me?

I'm telling you that Irak start to see PKK like a problem only after KRG become so strong. And if all of this permit to have Irak fighting PKK...then Turkey help to KRG was well wroth it.
At the least Irak cannot hope to have Turkey help against KRG if they continue to do nothing against PKK.

This is not true. Turkey and Iraq had relationship and joint actions against the PKK from at least 1983 where the first cross border operation took place. After the invasion because of the instability, raising Kurdish power and the priority one goal keeping the territorial integrity in Iraq Turkey was forced to form ties with all the sides including the Kurdish politicians driven from the fear of civil war in Iraq. That is the move that angered Iraq to start forming ties with PKK. Because Turkey feared that Iraq will lose its territorial integrity Turkey was driven to form ties with the Kurds and even support them because Turkey feared USA that is behind them. Al Maliki ""We have a reliable cooperation with Turkey to bring an end to this terrorist organization and other organizations that want to damage other neighbouring countries, who are our friends. When it comes to Turkey's possible intervention in northern Iraq, the issue is more massive and complicated than it is assumed to be. There is the need for a grand cooperation" and "I know the mountains where the PKK take shelter; they are precipitous mountains. We will find ways to stop the activities of this terror organization and to finish this organization through cooperation and understanding between us and Turkey." Nechirvan Barzani "The Turkish Army threatened an incursion. But with the dialogue built recently, all these problems have been overcome", and "I have always attached a great deal of importance to our relations with Turkey because Turkey is not only a neighbouring country but also very important for us.". Very important for them because if it was not for Turkey they would never exist. Go there and see for yourself. Everything is Turkish there. We gave them finger now they are trying to bite off the whole hand. Look what Engin Alan said for Barzani and the situation there.I beg you watch from 38:38 to 43:32
Turkey made so big mistakes that my mind cant take it. Look at the sadness in the eyes of this man. Because of the mistakes and even the treachery some people in Turkey did in the most critical times I am no less sad than him. I can even see it right now do you know that? For everything Turkey did Iraq did the necessary. I never imagined that I would defend a move from other country against my own. Can you imagine the level of stupidity of the ruling ones?

PKK flourished once Iraq lost control of the north, after the 1991 gulf war. That's when you had the large PKK ambush against your troops in 1993.

KRG tolerated PKK, Saddam didn't tolerate much of any Kurdism. Post 2003 Iraq is not tolerating PKK, it's more of a game that makes some support Turkey's enemy(PKK) when Turkey supports Iraq's enemy(KRG). However that's not solid.

PKK are in quandil since 1991 long before any relationship between Turkey and KRG. We have done operation with Irak, but always when Irak asked for it during special situation and only temporarely.
Irak has given up its mountains to PKK...they are no way to this. They did it because they simply didn't care that PKK used them to attack Turkey.

Before 2003, Irak is still the one calling the shot in the North not KRG.

Before 2003, Irak is still the one calling the shot in the North not KRG.

Before 2003 Iraq (Baghdad/Saddam) did not rule the north of Iraq. After the 1991 gulf war the US-led coalition had set up the northern no-fly zone in north Iraq, this included regular cruise missile attacks and airstrikes against ground troops, that disabled Baghdad for operating militarily in the north which enabled Kurds to control those lands.

Before the 1991 war Iraq ruled the north militarily, there were many clashes during the Iran-Iraq war with Kurdish guerilas which eventually became PKK/PJAK. Iran's regime supported them against Iraq back then, this was during the period when Saddam conducted the chemical attacks against them.

There is more to it before Saddam took power (pre 1979, during the rule of Qasim, but that's not relevant to the PKK).
