TEI TS-1400 turboshaft engine first ignition have been performed succesfully. TS-1400 turboshaft engine which has a thrust of 1400shp, will power up T-625 utility (6t) and Atak-2 attack helicopters. Later, Turboprop variant will be integrated on Hürkuş trainer and Akinci strategic Drones.

TEI gave proposal SSM to develop totally domestic turbofan engine (27000lbf+) for TF-X. Acc to proposal, TEI foreseens 14,5 years for design, development, testing, certification and delivery phase.
