They're still having discussions over the source codes as far as the UK & US is concerned as far as I'm aware.
Personally, if I were in charge & making the dicision for the UK, I'd make it simple: No source codes. No buy! Simple. The UK have shared a lot of tech with the US since WWII without a problem so I firmly believe they should with us, and at least trust us, that goes for the rest of the US's allies too, Canada, Turkey, Australia, Holland etc etc.
