Turkey's Economy Cannot Hold Out Much Longer

Very strange that Egypt, Pakistan and Turkey all seem to have caught the same infection. Three large dissimilar countries on different continents collapsing together.

It doesn't matter. There will be a crisis, then the economy will recover. What is important is that we establish our fully independent defense industry. No one will be able to impose an embargo on us and we will be able to sell the weapons we want to whomever we want.

Also, we will never leave NATO.

Same dreams since 2013 .. keep dreaming

Official Turkish figures show inflation dips under 40% for first time in 16 months

the inflation fell to under 40% from 85%

Türkiye's economy grows 4% in Q1

Türkiye ranked third among G20 countries, based on available data, while Indonesia registered the largest growth rate in January-March with 5.03%, followed by China with 4.5%.

1.. Indonesia 5.03%
2.. China 4.5%.
3 . Turkiye 4%

-- Turkiye has bigger economy than Greece+Iran+Egypt combined
-- Turkiye has bigger export rate an Greece+Israel+Egypt combined
and Turkiye is only industrialized country in the region

Our submarine technology has developed through joint projects with the Germans, and our aircraft industry with the Americans. The engine used in Kaan and Hurjet is American-made, the engines of our ships and submarines are German-made.

Don't look now, but somewhere near Korea and Japan, something similar is happening.

Israel has nothing to do with this. Is there a turbofan engine produced by Israel?

I am talking about technology transfer as like T-129 and TCG ANADOLU

Germany-USA did not give any technology transfer to Turkiye .
only under license production ...
They gives under license production to Egypt , S.Arabia , etc too

and Turkiye bought engines from USA and Germany .. no any technology transfer

Turkiye itself develops Engines , TFX , HURJET , KIZILELMA , SIPER , ISTIF , TF-2000 , MILDEN and many more

Turkey is 4th, in the same Quarter India grew at 6.1%, but it's considered Q4 instead of Q1 in India because our fiscal year is from 1st April to 31 March.

In the same time Lira lost 27% of its value and it will go down further, meaning Turkish GDP as usual will remain stagnant.

and Turkiye is only industrialized country in the region
If it is so, then why such sky high current account deficit?

The Kaans, which will be produced until 2028, will fly with the f110 engine. Also, we dont have an engine project for Hurjet.

Is there any project on ship and submarine engines?
