Turkey to build military base in Somalia

There were rumors within (a couple years ago) that after NATO withdrawal from Kosovo, Turkey was said to have planned to maintain it's military presence in Kosovo. Honestly, I expect this to happen.

Might be....Kosovo would definitely welcome our presence.

We have to give our outdated APC and Tanks as aid to Somalia. Better then nothing, i wish we would give them latest equipments but we are not that rich country

somalia appreciates the gesture of turkey,less than 4 years,we have transformed into politically stable country.we have exported a record of 4.8 million livestock to middle east in 2015 and another 5 million in 2015 that is almost 800 million dollars injected into the economy,investment in agriculture is underway,we have the longest coastline in africa meaning we have surplus to export to japan,south korea and even turkey.our capital is experiencing the highest construction boom in recent history,we also hope to become tourist nation inshalah since kenya-well known tourist country is next door.the only thing we are dealing is a declining/waning shabab terrorists,these outdated APC and tanks will help local stability.

We should create a whole Africa Corps and deploy it in Somalia. Both for protection of Mogadishu and to gain combat experience (slaughtering Al Shabab, maybe even Boko Haram as capability is increased, is a nice bonus).

I'm not sure reviving the Ottoman past will be the best thing to do. Turkey should definitely cling to her democratic tradition. True democracy is the only sustainable weapon against aggressive powers like the US.
