End of ISIS? Turkey forms super alliance with Russia to ANNIHILATE Islamic State in Syria
TURKEY has called for a partnership with Russia to help wipe the Islamic State off the face of the Earth.
Ankara's foreign minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said the countries are seeking to patch up bilateral ties in an interview with Turkish media.
He said: "We will discuss all the details. We have always called on Russia to carry out anti-Daesh operations together.”
Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan met with Vladimir Putin this week to "restart dialogue and restart relations" according to Moscow.
Tension has boiled over between the two states since a Russian warplane was shot down by Turkish forces near the Syrian border in November last year.
But Putin has been an active player in the fight against the blood-thirsty fanatical group in Syria and Turkey is hoping to support its fight.
Commander Lieutenant General Sean MacFarland, who heads the US-led Operation Inherent Resolve, issued the bleak assessment after spending almost a year fighting against ISIS in Iraq.
The experienced general said the future of the Islamist group was as an al-Qaeda style insurgency once its territory had been carved up in the Middle East.
Cavusoglu added: "Let’s fight against the terrorist group together, so that we can clear it out as soon as possible."
The talks come as ISIS prepares to wage more attacks following military defeats in Iraq and Syria.
He said: "Military success in Iraq and Syria will not necessarily mean the end of Daesh.
"We can expect the enemy to adapt, to morph into a true insurgent force and terrorist organisation capable of horrific attacks like the one here on July 3rd in Baghdad and those others we've seen around the world."

Benefits for Turkey;
* Turkey will control that Turkmen areas will not be bombed via direct line between two armies' heads of general stuff.
* Turkey will destroy unbased claims that Turkey aids Daesh.
* Daesh will not get closer to Turkish borders in comfort.
* PYD will be under pressure and control against a wrong move towards Turkey.
* Bombing coordinates will be shared with Russia and vice-versa.
* Turkey can secure the borders more easily.
