There is no evidence Britain tortured anybody, just handed them over when it was known they would be tortured. But yes I don't think anybody should be tortured. Even if there were no moral objections it can often be quite an unreliable means of obtaining informationthey do not go around judging others with a holier then thou attitude either
you stand for human rights do you not? where do your human rights go when you torture others ? you sanction other countries for less than what you participated in?
