We have our own 6 different multi-layered air defence systems such as KORKUT , SUNGUR , HISAR-A, HISAR-O , SIPER to eliminate all threats ( Aircrafts , Helicopters , Drones , Cruise Missiles ,etc ) . with S400 Air Defense System to allow Area Air Defense of Military Bases and Strategic Facilities against enemy attacks at long range and in distributed architecture

The development process of new SIPER models with range of 150 km that can be effective against also ballistic missiles . We signed an agreement, a letter of intention with EUROSAM ( France-Italy ) like 4 years ago, but nothing happened until today.

Ther will be a new version of the SAMP-T with capability to engage medium range ballistic missiles. Aster Block 2 are we talking about. HISAR and SIPER dont have capability to intercept Ballistic Missiles
S400 has capability to intercept Ballistic Missiles but Turkiye needs its own anti-balistic missile System and Radar network to eliminate Ballistic Missile threats

SAMP-T use ASTER-30 block1 missile with a ballistic missile interception capability against Ballistic Missiles up to 600 km. Italy-France develops ASTER-30 block2 to intercept ballistic missiles up to 3.000 km

Turkiye wants to work with EUROSAM for the development process of new SIPER models with ballistic missile interception capability

Turkiye will buy another batch of S400 and there is interest also in S500 however due to conflict in Ukraine this plan has been paused.

As i told you before the more the merrier. Also there will be partnership along with that transfer of technology. In coming 5 years Turkiye will have one of strongest and most advanced air defence network in the world.
