Trump looks forward to working with Pakistan, says US NSA

. . .
Since the price was inflated, it's same as saying no.

Nah it means

Let's see how bad you want it, if you really want it pay more for it

Just in case Pakistanis want to integrate some of their own future weapons, would Pakistan's best ally be ready to give software codes and electronic details for F-16, in any higher/elevated price ?

Nope
and US is not Pakistan's best Ally

Okay, now that uncle sam knows that PAF isn't really dying for it what now?

More JF-17's Block III
Second hand Planes from Some Countries
J-31 in Future and TAI TFX most Probably..

while More chances are J-31 to be Produced in PAC Pakistan (Kamra Aviation City) and Few Squadrons of TAI TFX

The US must have foreseen this possibility, so it was unlikely that they would jack up the price if they really wanted to sell it to Pakistan in the first place.

best is far beyond thing, many have doubts in just being ally

Allies always want their weaker partner to be stronger. (not like negative behavior of US in case of Pakistani nukes and missile program)
They don't put sanctions on them. (as Pak-US alliance shows again and again)
Allies come for help and not to kill (like US did in Salala)

The main reason is F-16 jets are very expensive compared to JF-17 and 2nd hand jets.

It makes sense for Pakistan to get JF-17, as you can buy 2 of them for the price of 1 F-16

When the US commits to working with Pakistan but doesn't sell F-16's

That time is gone, we dont need F16s now, Our very own JF17 Block 3 and 4 and later JF18 will be better than F16s, not to mention the Stealth Fighter in the pipeline too. US can stick thse F16s up its sweet A-S_S

You are hung up on wrong item and strategy here. The US, without doubt can "make it rain" in terms of expansion of the Pakistani economy through allowing her businesses to invest in Pakistan and allowing Pakistan to trade freely for a while. Just 5 years of such an economic cooperation will set Pakistan up for the future and for the better.

So when you could get investments from the US worth $ 10 / 20 billion a year, and trade opportunities to export to the US worth a few billions a year, do the F-16's still matter? NO, you can use the money you'll make in profits and literally, can start manufacturing a better plane yourself or buy it from the Europeans or others.

For a better future, and for the better good, you gotta look beyond the past and beyond the hurdles. Just because I don't want to discuss a topic with you (referring to the F-16's), doesn't mean I can't benefit you beyond your imagination (referring to the US's ability to help expand Pakistan's economy in literally, no time). You guys need to learn how the real diplomacy is done and how you and others can cooperate for billions, and still keep your interests intact!
Today's world runs on economies, not on F-16's. Your economy is strong, you can buy many F-16's and F-18's on cash!
You think Jews/Zionists/Freemasons/Neo Cons will let Pakistan become prosperous ? Why didnt they make us rich when we were members of SEATO and CENTO ? People of Pakistan cannot be fooled anymore. Thank you for your friendship Uncle Sam, we r happy without your friendship, period.

Nothing is stopping US companies from investing in Pakistan right now. They are just not doing so in great numbers. And US is already one of Pakistan's bigger export markets.

No. What benefit would Lockheed Martin receive for doing such a thing? And how much of a price is Pakistan is willing to pay for such access? Better of spending the money on JF-17s.
