I saw this interview a few days ago. I enjoy watching such clowns. This is another tarek fatah in the making. Let Indian media take notice of him and he'll be the ultimate star of talk shows. I think he must be waiting anxiously for calls from Indian media. The problem is he should have spoken this rubbish on a better medium. Who'd watch this shitty clip recorded in somebody's basement in canada.
this thread is going to be buried soon @PARIKRAMAThese guys talk lot of sense I watched only few videos but really and eye opener.
You seems to be reasonable...however if the first bold part is true then may i ask why did Pakistan forcefully try to take Kashmir in 65? So somewhere from 47-65 worry about India attacking changed to Pakistan trying to fish in troubled waters.....On contrary Nehru thinking was that IA is a burden and had to learn the hard way in 61....What i am trying to ask is was the threats from India real or more in psyche which eventually changed the focus from nation building to a super strong army....and then finally believing that we have enough firepower to snatch away kashmir....thereby making the second bold part true??May be he's right about establishment and the game establishment plays. He is giving an out of box idea
But their shameless way of protecting india and Modi and the stupid argument that India is killing people in Kashmir because Pakistani forced it to do it is all garbage.
The problem we have in Pakistan is we are very one dimensional people. Either we love Pakistan and we go to extreme level to cover up all our faults or we hate Pakistan and we go to any level to do propaganda against Pakistan.
Fact is establishment has done so many mistakes, Army is no very clean, but in the end of day the war hysteria that Pakistan and Pakistan army has is because since our birth we have been surrounded by a hostile neighborhood.
Not even a single country spared any chance to bring Pakistan down (including India, Afghanistan, Iran, even middle eastern countries). This built up a mentality in Pakistan army to always be in War mode.
He is right that establishment needs to give up on Jihadis and laskhar ideology. But world should also look into getting us Guarantee from India, Afghanistan, Iran that they will stop plotting against Pakistan after we give up on Jihad ideology.

huhhh really...These guys talk lot of sense I watched only few videos but really and eye opener.
Look i am not trying to say we are some saints..let me take your words as truth for the sake of argument and ask -- please just for a second think...how on this earth Hyderabad joining Pakistan was practical?? And how is that equivalent to threats to Pakistan....Also Liaquat Ali was somewhat supporting NAM...so as per allegations US via AF were responsible...Pakistan establishment has done mistakes and change in mentality is required.
But I do not agree that threats to Pakistan were not real. As I said we need to talk about pre-1965 events also. An example is How an Afghan national murdered Liaquat Ali Khan in 1950s?? No one talks about how India captured many princely states that decided to join Pakistan, an example State of Hyderabad.
Fair enough....BTW we need a bit of lesson on history; After independence Maharaja of Kashmir didn't make any agreement for a little while, although his inclination was towards india but the decision wasn't made. At that time there were many princely states that were slowly making decisions and till they made decisions they were safeguarded by British Army. Both India and Pakistan were trying their best to get as many states as possible both with dialogue and with army attacks. India had attacked many states so had Pakistan. At that time, General Gracey, first commander in chief of Pakistan consulted with Jinnah and decided that India is going to attack Kashmir so rather then retaliation we should attack first. So Pakistan's Army led by the British General attacked Kashmir before there was any decision made by the Maharaja of Kashmir.
Look I was merely talking about post this saga....this Kashmir bogey and existential threat made your Army larger than life....now was it good or bad for Pakistan i am not sure...If i look in the past then Pakistan economy was doing better than India's...but if i look into the current scenario then Pakistan has become a mess...and from a progressive Muslim society she has gradually moved/moving into clutches of Mullah brigade or atleast that is the perception...Now, Pakistan is portrayed as villain here but no one talks about the fact that at that time that was the order of the day. India was vastly attacking and capturing many princely states and so did Pakistan in Kashmir. After we captured a part of Kashmir in 1947, then Maharaja acts and does contract with India but by that time Maharaja had already lost control over the land Pakistan Army captured. So if we want to reverse it then India should leave all the states it captured and Pakistan should leave all the states it captured by going back in time to 1947.
