Where in the world is this place? (Ah sorry, came in late. So it was Lohegaon, right?)

I too was staying near the boundary wall next to the runway at Chennai airport. I could almost see the cabin crew through the airplane windows especially during landing! Heck! The planes came so close, I could even see the treads on the landing gear!!

Sometimes I was up on the roof in an easy-chair with a can of beer, and some popcorn watching the aircraft land and take off. But the sound pollution really fooked the crap out of us!

Here's a pic of an aircraft taking off from the Chennai airport. This is how it looked from my roof during takeoff. Bloody scary shit!!

well it flew over a few times..... i use a Nikon 3000 with a 70 X 300 mm lens .... so do your math !!!
