TRADE WITH INDIA NEED OF THE HOUR, SAYS ADVISER TO THE PRIME MINISTER ON COMMERCE RAZAK DAWOOD

Handsome never allowed anyone to trade with india yet, let him allow first then we will include him same category
Its his ministers making all the nice, and he is the man in charge. Either he cant leash his dogs properly, or like any other politician would do they are testing the waters to see what sells, and what not.

Basically, he is not that stupid to not know whats going on. Its his NSA chief that volunteered a 100 year peace proposal, when the other side is not even listening to you.

Bottom line is non of these clowns as i said previous or current can do jack chit, till their strings are pulled.

First of all dawood is not minister but a trade adviser, secondly no other news network but a lifafa group dawn news reported this which copied by land of pajeets newspapers , so i still think it’s propaganda
Regarding national security policy we all know what was it and who actually worked upon it

If you think India has a strong enough economy to gain this much leverage you are delusional.

Indian side is not even trying to have trade. Status quo suits us just fine.

It's your side from where such comments are originating. So for trade to resume as your side desires, they will have to swallow their pride. We don't have to do anything.

Why? PTI walas on this very forum swore for two-years that Article 370 meant nothing to Pakistan.
Hehehe.. exactly. 370 is gone for good. Our side saw an opportunity with Pakistan’s current ruling apparatus and took the step.
Pakistan’s current rulers reaction started with " We don't care as Indian Constitution does not apply to Kashmir " and has now moved to this.

Pakistan should not import anything except medicines from India export jitni marzi karain

With 200% tariff on any import from Pakistan, India has closed its market to Pakistan. We probably import some salt and small items like this. And export a lot to Pakistan via Gulf. That's why there is no statement from any Indian minister.

PM will never allow to trade with india until they not reverse the kashmir decision
Perhaps I am missing something. Who loses if there is no trade with India? Not India.

Trade already exists. You just need to open your eyes to see it. Why such arrogance?

You are making a mistake.

India has a strong enough economy, even given the disastrous way the economy has been handled by the duds now in power, not to need to get anything, leverage or any other thing, from commencing trade with Pakistan.

A simple look at how each side has handled Most Favoured Nation status will give you the answer.

The only people who benefit are the third parties through whom a fairly substantial amount of trading takes place. This is already a reality, as you have pointed out.

I think the arrogance is due to ignorance of the actual situation on the ground, and what volume of disguised trading is already going on.

It may also be due to the Sangh Parivar putting out the line that it is in full control of the situation within the country, and in our relations with other countries, and their credulous followers believing it.

Total bilateral trade was around $2.67 bn in 2018-19 while total trade of Pakistan was around $73 bn in 2019 when bilateral trade was suspended. 3.67% of their trade got wiped off.

Why the hell we neee trade with India? Do we import cheap oil or gas from them? Or we export some 10 billions dollars of goods to them? WTF

In the present situation, neither required nor it is 'need of the hour'.
Most of the Indian businesses are also depend on trade from China.
China has a more qualitative edge on India and is a viable option for Pakistan.
In past, many times when Pakistan was trading with India; India canceled some critical needs of Pakistan at the 11th hour. Trade with China does not have such issues.

#ModiKaYaar much? He is not alone in the present government, I think.

In any case there is much to be gained by both countries. Its not as though its a one-way street.

But this can only work if India addresses the Kashmir issue to find a mutually beneficial solution.

1 - India will now possibly never talk on Kashmir. it does not Matter -Modi or No Modi.
Pakistan had its chances before the Kargil War... At that time, I still remember that India was agreed that Kashmir is a core issue and wanted to Talk due to lots of trouble in Kashmir since 1989.

Currently, the Situation has changed, Trade or no trade, Talk or no talk -- Really, does not matter.

Now, it is time -
1. Follow Chinese footprint - Have the disagreement but start doing trade and business, it will help to economy and people of Pakistan.

2. NO Trade and business because of Kashmir -

Whatever trade there is or was between India and Pakistan is not significant enough to force Pakistan to drop Kashmir.

If Immy K tries to drop Kashmir in exchange for a few bucks the 111 brigade will be knocking at his door, that is if the people won't have lynched him by then.
