Yes its not the batch to be exact but the squadron, upto 50 will make the tranch of batch 01, then comes the batch 2 of 50 more with minor sensor change, IFR probe, IRST, more composites and air to ground guided indigenous weapons (if u know what i mean :P).

dear sir Nabil,

When is the block two ready with testing and when will production start?

thank you.

This is a different video than previously seen as i have observed rapid turning and climbing by JFT compared to the earlier video. Seems even smoother and faster than before. Sorry if posted earlier but it a treat to eyes...

IMHO, it should start by the end of 2011 or first quarter 2012. :pakistan:

Sir Nabil,
are we integrating our Ra'ad cruise missile on Thunders blk II ?

Pics of Chinese C-802A along with Thunder from Zuhai confirmed two things

1- Cruise Missile integration is part of the plan
2- JF-17s will be inducted in Anti-Ship role

So, Yes prospects of Ra'ad being integrated with Thunders are very prominent :pakistan:

All Pakistani weapons are either already or being integrated so its logical for PAF to integrate RAAD too.

looks in video more agilie if this is blk 1 than what will be blk 3 man just unbelievable im lovin it

Remember that it flew twice a day during airshow and most videos are from day one but this one seems from another day as maneuvers clearly seem nifty and speedy. Its agility is damn impressive in all hemispheres especially the corner velocity !!

Nabil,

The air craft may be capable of a lot more than what can be displayed,
remember the pilots who are flying these are NOT display pilots.

Companies like Lockheed, Boeing etc employ specialty pilots for just displays who practice year on year on a particular plane.

for Thunder, it's been only a few years and I am pretty sure none of the pilots have tried learning fancy stuff with it.
