Top brass says Kabul abetting terror in Pakistan

.
No surprises here.
Still Pakistani establishments fault.

.
That's what they LITERALLY said though.

Which is why no one is taking what they say seriously anymore.

What they say or said doesn't change the facts

And you know that too but you won't accept it

.
That is a conspiracy theory. In the same manner I can say that modi is an isi agent working to create rift in Indian society and to disintegrate it along religious lines

We should accept realities in our criticism of military

1. Ttp is a reality
2. Military's failure in defeating it is a reality

Let not hatred for someone blind us from obvious facts and realities
Yes it is a conspiracy orchestrated by the army and their specific actions in this regard reaffirms this theory. Their releasing of Ehsanullah and countless other TTP fighters, their constant noora kushti with TTP and deliberate ineffective counter insurgency tactics lends itself to the belief that they are in on it.

Let me ask you this, do you believe army played a role in IK's ouster or do you believe that to be a conspiracy theory as well?

Do you believe Army patronized MQM or was that a conspiracy theory?

If Army is capable of these two specific ignominious subterfuges then it is within its wheel house to back TTP.

Is this a condition of IMF/America that Pakistan has to fight Afghan Taliban if they want
dollars? or are they trying to rally up support from the public to allow US bases drone to bomb
Afghanistan? just to get dollars?

US is gone forever from South Asia and the Af Pak region. The US intentionally left a void knowing well the nature of the Afghans. It is the immaturity of Imran Khan that he could not play his card properly to gain max benefit when US was leaving Afganistan. So now, US will simply aid and support all the passive players in the region to accomplish its goal.

. . .
Problem is others will sense weakness and take advantage of the situation which is exactly what is going on but why blame the Taliban, the blame solely lies with Pakistan military and the establishment who needlessly interjected itself in matters that were beyond it's constitutional judistriction. Threw successive governments out through coups and behind door engineerings. This has alienated Pakistanis, the majority anyway and instead of realizing, they adopted heavy hand tactics never seen in the history of Pakistan where even women and children are not safe from their wrath.
Now this army and more so it's treacherous high command has zero respect and zero trust among Pakistanis. Anything that they say or do will be without any support from its people. The Taliban knows this, India knows this, Israel knows this. So get ready to see your asses kicked in any near future conflict.

It is a stupid conspiracy theory often propogated by clowns like manzoor pashteen and his cabal. You are confusing inherent incompetency of the military to fight insurgency with a grand evil conspiracy by the military to keep terrorism alive in this country. Both are two different things and you are deliberately confusing the both

Yes military has a role in ouster of Imran Khan and Mqm is always a party used by the establishment but that doesn't prove in any manner the wrong hypothesis that you want to prove here. It is just like saying that since a lot of Indians have been caught spying for Pakistan so it proves that modi is a Pakistani agent

. .
So once again US is showing them carrots and stick, and just like so many times in the past, these GHQ Generals like to change themselves into Donkeys and are running around in circles with excitement. Meanwhile when it comes to ordinary people of Pakistan, these donkeys transform into Hyenas and kill them and brutalised them.

During this entire play I will take a front row seat and consume my popcorn.

ISLAMABAD: Corps commanders of the Pakistan Army on Monday blamed Kabul for the uptick in militancy, saying that safe havens and liberty of action, along with the latest weapons available to militants from Afghanistan enabled them to carry out attacks inside Pakistan.

Islamabad has repeatedly raised concerns over the use of Afghan soil by militants for cross-border terrorism. In a recent statement, the military said it expected the government in Afghanistan to take action against militants and abide by the Doha agreement.

According to Inter-Services Public Relations, Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir presided over the 258th Corps Commanders’ Conference held at General Headquarters in Rawalpindi, where the top brass was briefed in detail about the prevailing internal security environment.

“The sanctuaries and liberty of action available to the terrorists of proscribed TTP and other groups of that ilk in a neighbouring country and availability of latest weapons to the terrorists were noted as major reasons impacting [the] security of Pakistan,” a statement issued by the ISPR said.

Army points to TTP’s acquisition of advanced weaponry from Afghanistan, terms it ‘major’ challenge to country’s security

Military sources said the inability of the Afghan Taliban to restrain the TTP was the main reason for the latest wave of unrest in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

They said the banned TTP continued to enjoy safe havens and managed to get its hands on sophisticated weapons, as it operates freely in Afghanistan. The sources pointed out that militants involved in the recent attacks in Balochistan were using M-16 rifles and sporting uniforms commonly used by the US military.

The corps commanders also deliberated in detail upon the army’s operational preparedness and training aspects.

Gen Munir said: “Objective training remains the hallmark of our professionalism and we must always remain prepared to guard against any threat to our national security.” The forum also paid rich tribute to the sacrifices being offered by the valiant soldiers to avert the threat of terrorism.

The conference was also apprised about the government’s economic revival plan and the “role of the army in uplifting agriculture, IT, mining and mineral, and defence production sectors under the ambit of the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC)”, the ISPR statement said.

The top brass vowed to fully support the strategic initiatives planned by the government for the revival of the economy by providing all possible technical and management support.
Then top brass should focus on this problem and not other issues which are not their responsibility

Yes, now they would wine and cry in front of them for next 100 years of no use.
