Top 7 reasons why this Pakistani serial is a big hit in India

That was its parent script nagari, devanagari is the modern script used to write Sanskrit, Hindi, Gujrati and maybe a few more languages idk which was adopted in the 19th century.

Devanagari is a variant origined from Nagari before first Muslim dynasty. The Brahmins, shopkeepers, merchants, poets used them. Gujarati is not written in Devanagari.

Do not write stupid shit the Persian script came from Arabic and then Punjabi and Urdu scripts evolved from Persian script. Arabic was the first script that influenced the rest and yes Muslims of South Asia speak Urdu after the decline of Persian although some bezurg are still fluent in Persian today.

i feel pity on you, being an Elite member, you are no where knowledgeable about the existence of language and culture you speak. The government of Pakistan wanted to differentiate Pakistanis from Indian and they presented change in History in schools. The fed you with all good things be it wrong about your culture.

FYI: Persian has been in existence since alexander came, but that was old pershian, then came the second era of Persian and then is a new persian a modified one which was adopted 1000-1200 years back. What people speak today is classical persian which is a modification of 'early new persian'.

But the point is Persian and Sankrit are mother of all Languages!!
Persian only uses the arabic script, which is also a member of Perso-Arabic alphabets and arabic scrip is not related to Muslims at all!! Arabic is itself a member of Abjad family:angry:, and hebrew has similar skript. :hitwall:

You people are brain washed dude, guys seriously change your education system and come out of this darkness. Man, I can't believe, and you are an elite member LOL.

You are mistaking script with language and are an idiot. This is the old Persian script compare it to what the Persian use today and then kill yourself before coming here and telling me I need to change the education system which I was never a part of when you do not know wtf you are even talking about.

Arabic, Persian and Turkish influence led to Urdu what you think the locals were speaking nothing before the Mughals decided to take up the language? By Islamic influence I mean the words that were added the religious terminology and the script all that was added to Hindustani which led to the creation of Urdu. Script did not differ at first example being even non Muslim Punjabis used Shahmukhi script before the creation of Gurmukhi. Likewise until the creation of devanagri script one can assume the Persian influence script was the norm. Oh yeah and what persianization of Urdu there was no further Persianization if you are talking about Pakistan national anthem that shit is pure Farsi. The only words that make it into urdu are the ones urdu borrowed from farsi which is why a Pakistani kid will understand a bit like zameen arz etc. Ask @LoveIcon who lives in Iran what that is he will tell you that is normal farsi.

Firstly Arabic, Persian and Turkic influence on khari boli led to the evolution of Hindustani which itself evolved from Apabhramsa, it was not Urdu back then. There was no religious anlge to the development of Hindustani, it was the the influence of Arabic,Persian,Turkic etc on local language khari boli. Script differed with its user. I'm not talking about Punjab rather the place where these developments took place ie Delhi-UP region. Different scripts were used by different people for the same language. Creation of Devanagri?? It's evolution is traced to the 12th century from ancient Gupta script , earlier it was called Nagri. Persianization of Urdu = purging of Sanskirt words with Persian words. Hindustani was a dialect of khari boli with perisan/arabic "influence".

The fact that Urdu still has words with sanskrit origins means there was no purge, you would think the Pakistani government of all people would have made sure that sanskrit words were weeded out considering their insecurity. The Urdu you see today is what is has always been, so then what separates Hindustani from Urdu because afaik the language the Mughals adopted they referred to as Zuban Urdu unless they were just calling Hindustani Urdu which means Urdu and Hindustani have no difference? Umm you are assuming they all used different scripts can you show me proof of written Urdu in a script other than the one we know today?

Nagri was known to have been used for Prakrit and Sanskrit.

Urdu is not a language of Muslims. The Arabic the Persian themselves are not Islamic language. They persist before Islam. The Hindus and Zoroastrians in Iran developed it. Plus the arabic script derived from persian.

@Screambowl no you did not you imbecile.

I said Persian spoken today uses Arabic script you Idiot!! :hitwall:

Look above idiot and now bugger off cause you are daf.

I know it, Nagri and Devanagari are only slightly different, the line used in head since 10 th century. Also, script and language evolution are not interrelated.

Urdu’s origin: it’s not a ‘camp language’ - Newspaper - DAWN.COM

After reading the first paragraph that is not what I meant. Oh I get what the article is saying, so when exactly did Urdu break off from Hindustani? Also what are the differences?

Arabic script is which is used now, is influenced by greek , egyptian and persian and aramaic!!! :hitwall:

What language has to do with religion my question is?

. . .
You are wasting your time with idiots.

I don't understand one thing,

what Arabic and persian has to do with Muslims lol!! They have been there before Islam came and even the scripts. What is there to beat chest?

What was the Persianization of Urdu? When did this happen and what exactly was Persianized? Also you were wrong earlier the national anthem is not in Urdu.

This is similar to your supported argument of Islamization of Languages.

You are stupid I already explained when I said Islamic influence I meant in the South Asian context meaning whatever foreigners namely in this case the Muslim dynasties added to the language of the people they ruled over. Which in this case includes numerous loanwords, religious terminology, and scripts.
