Russia undoubtedly second,has huge air force with massive ground attack,airlift and strategic bombardment capability,plus the best air defence SAM system coverage in the world.But teeth to tail ratio is not optimal for russia.Upgrades undergoing with alter this though.

Now onto others.

The key here is teeth to tail ratio.Israel has very little tail and a superb proven pilot training system with highest combat exp save usa in modern history.

60-65 f-15 eagles.
25 F-15E strike eagles.
340 f-16s of all types[many upgraded with israeli avionics]


China ;

China has a lot of aircraft but a lot of tail as well.Pilots unproven,no combat experience.

Teeth includes
200 j-10a and B.
76 SU-30MKK
140 J-11A/B
76 SU-27

Britain.Small force but combat proven.[falklands,afganisthan,iraq plus glorious legacy of ww2]

100 eurofighters
124 tornadoes[these have been heavily upgraded,Can launch storm shadow.taurus,paveway LGB,AMRAAM and JDAM]

France.Not as combat proven as RAF.But has a reputation as competent.Performed well in ground attack missions in libya and afganisthan.

80 rafales.
160 mirage 2000s[heavily upgraded]

Not combat proven? Are you deluded, we was one of the only airforces in Balkans to do air operations at them times. We regularly bomb terrorists in Iraq, we have Anatolian eagle exercise that is attended by USA, Pakistan and.
many many more airforces. Plus you forgot like 100 F-4 for air to ground bombing.

Are you that deluded you think Israel is third? UK and France ahead of India Lol seems you guys have no trust in your air force. Where is south Korea they have strong airforce.

lol france you said did air to ground roles , give my nanny that much air support of NATO and shell do them bombings aswell lol.

we regularly conduct air to ground probably like everyday and into mountainous areas at night.

Turkey's air force is overestimated. Certainly not worth to mention it. The same counts for Arab countries, who have high quality fighter jets, but no real skills to operate them.
