Top 10 strongest air forces of the world | TopYaps

1. United States Air Force (America):

Ruler of the technology horizon along with conceptions apparently picked from the futuristic script of a Hollywood flick, the USAF was founded on September 11, 1947, with the motto No One Comes Close. The undisputed magnet of air, space and cyberspace in the current scenario, this air force owns the largest number of warplanes in the world which almost equals to the rest of the world put together.

2. Russian Air Force (Russia):

The characteristics of Russian air power is still undetermined. With amazingly effective doctrine and mechanized defense, the Russian Air Force possesses the ability to maneuver in any kind of terrain. Notable for implementing beyond-the-limit strategy with weirdest technologies, this air force founded after the disintegration of the Soviet Union in 1991-92.

Indian Airforce not stronger than China. Something wrong with the ranking.

My top ten list:

1. USA (Airforce)
2. USA (Navy)
3. USA (Marines)
4. USA (Army)
5. USA (National Guard)
6. Israel
7. RAF (UK)
8. France
9. Russia
10. China

This is based on combat experience and pilot skill, not on technology and strength. Strength means technology and numbers, not skills and experience. Both Russia, China, and recently India have incorporated state-of-the-art combat systems into their air forces as well as major types of aircraft.

My personal assessment for technology and strength would be:

1. USA

--- big gap ---

2. Russia

3. China

4. France

5. UK

6. India

7. Israel

8. Saudi Arabia

9. UAE

10. South Korea

^^^^
That's the most proper assessment

But i think Japan has to be there in place of UAE

According to Wikipeida the PLAAF should beat the RAF by miles:

RAF: Tornado 136, Eurofighter 71

PLAAF: Su-27 69, Su-30 100, J-10(A and B) 168+, J-11(A and B) 200+, JH-7A 192

Only a moron would believe that the UK and beat China in an airforce deathmatch with these numbers.

I beg to differ!

2. India

-- big gap --

3. Russia
4. France
5. UK
6. Israel
7. Saudi Arabia
8. UAE
9. South Korea
10. China
