Didn't notice them. They're dumb as well if they used that term.FYI i'm not the biggest fan of skimpy outfits on women but to each his own and i find etiquettes such as "sluts" very offensive and abject.
Sorry about that then...
Ergh no......i've clearly mentioned...within the norms of our societies. You're very hypocritical when equating western liberalism to allowing face veil or not.Better equate it to the allowance of mosques,no "jyzia" like tax,no religious violence,no killing those who deny Jesus as the One True God,no killing of those who burn a Bible,no killing of the "Sharia for UK" crowd,no "you need 4 women witnesses to equal 1 men" or other crap like that.
Stop swinging the extreme swings and throwing in every word media tells you...do you know what jyzia is? or was that thrown in to hint your ignorance on the subject?
As for the 4 women ....many countries threw it out but media repeats it for its own purposes...I can even quote a lawyer from Harvard backing the shariah and she is not even Muslim....I have posted that article here numerous times coz people from their lack of information just throw in what the media feeds them....
A person's choice does not equal to SHARIAH FOR UK it does however fit in with the definition of accepting DIFFERENCE which = to liberal and tolerance
While the Saudi also claim to fit in the norms of their society = cover up!
So how is Saudi NOT liberal and termed intolerant?
Pry do tell me the difference? When you do it, it is liberal and tolerance when the same is done in another country it gets the opposite definition?
No sir, let's close our eyes to ALL these liberties and moan everyday about the face veil.
THAT is exactly what is happening and it is not even those using it are moaning but those oppressing out of shear fear due to what media feeds them...Mind you I aint the only one who found this offensive and really a hypocrisy act:
More than
700 people have signed a "Stop the Islamophobia" petition
in protest at the school’s stance. The petition at change.org, started by an anonymous protester, claims the
16-year-old was allowed to sit exams this summer wearing the veil, and that
former pupils have been allowed to wear the niqab. It states: “This school is renowned for its ‘individuality’ and ‘strong feminist views’. However, this poorly thought out decision made by the school contradicts this. What happened to ‘freedom of expression’?”
One of those to have signed the petition, Farhana Khanom, commented on the website: “
I went to Camden school for girls and many girls wore veils and were allowed to do so. This school had a reputation. And now discriminating [against] people that made
their own choice to wear what they feel is utterly disgusting.”
Another signatory, Cabrini Cotter-Boston, posted online: “This decision has set them back decades. It’s disgusting that Camden
teaches us as young women to empower ourselves, and to push the boundaries set by society, yet they themselves are taking away a young girl’s education because of her choice in clothing.”
Camden School for Girls bans 16-year-old Muslim student from taking A-levels until she removes niqab - Education News - Education - The Independent
Not only that but you have the audacity to compare western democracies with muslim countries where religious minorities are torned apart by muslim crowds while the police watches on the side lines .Really ? I mean REALLY ? Just because they don't allow face veils...Jesus,i'm wasting my time here, some of you can't grasp simple things.
I didnt compare it was your Indians who brought in Saudi REPEATEDLY...
and even you did so! Its easy to throw the blame on someone else but difficult to take responsibility!
I only asked if you think you are different than Saudi (after it was dragged in along with Pakistan) than show the difference!
@
flamer84 ,She is part of the silent muslim majority that never spoke up and now there is a wahabI infestation in europe particularly (rare in canada largely due to our assimilation). I practice the islamique faith myself and the niqab is clearly a
symbol of slavery n opression in todays context plus a security threat. Also the muslims of her leaning largely do nit believe in our values of secularism and see it clash with their islamic ideology. She is a decent friend and her analysis are strong in issue partaking in middle east but avoid religious leaning discussions
because her definition views people wearing skirts as "sluts" may give you a hint mon ami so for sake of time avoid the topic as it will lead to no result.
My dear friend, answer this question in simple terms...
Do you believe in secularism?
That is clear injustice...when an Indian Male uses the word slut it is fine and goes unquestioned, unchallenged... but god forbid a Muslim woman uses that word? Drag it all over the thread!
You may need to define it to me...Because apparently the definition I google up do not fit what you people present!
