To whom does the term 'Aryan' belong?

I always thought that the aryan race originated in central asia. Maybe im wrong. However, I dont think it refers to Nordic. (does it?).

There is no such thing as "Aryan Race". The term was first originated from Asia it was first used by the Sanskrit speakers but the term had nothing to do with race or nationality it's original meaning was simply "noble". It was used by the Sanskrit speakers to refer to the "people of their land" or the "noble people of their land"

Iran , (north & west of it) towards the euro Asian side most probably

is that region the origin of sanskrit language?

Was staying out of this thread till I saw your reply. West Iran was unknown even to ancient Iranians themselves. The word Aryan seems to have been used originally by the people of the Rg veda, specifically a sub sect of one of the tribes - the Bharatas of the Puru tribe. How it went on to encompass all the other tribes & the connection to Iran remains a mystery.

hahahahah so the Indian Hindus still are under some complex?

ok so the end result of every thread on Aryans is that Indians are ashamed of being Dravidians and the final answer is that Hindus are aryans.

The word Aryan means Noble in Ancient India society.

A guy who occupies the highest position in that society is called Aryan. The guy who work for him is called Dasya.

Nothing to do with race or genealogy.

Dravidians have a rich history. If i was a dravidian i would have proudly sticked to the rich history instead of having some complex and instead of trying to portray as aryan.

and what about Muslims and Christiansin India? probably mostly they are converts

Could not have said better than this.
Aryan is a "state" or a "degree" given to the noble men. Nothing to do with race whatsoever. It was first mentioned in world's oldest script The Rigveda.

Dravidians are a language group not related to skin color or North or South.

There are dravidians in Pakistan also, " Brahui people in the central Balochistan region of Pakistan" are also can be called Dravidians since they also speak Dravidian Language.

To tell you Brahmin is not by birth but by his profession.

In Ancient Indian society there is no such thing as by birth , If you learn Vedas and other sanskrit texts you will become a Brahmin. If you learn Warrior skill then you will become Kshatrya.

But during the course of centuries the greed for power among the people who are occupying the top positions twisted this rule, and so we see this kind of caste system now a days in India.
