We keep hearing (or reading ) on PDF that north Indians call south Indians kaale (blacks ) and discriminate against them..I have never been to north..so, I don't know how true it is..I never heard anything like that from people here who visited north..however I read northeasterners are called chinkis by some university students and are discriminated against..my question is are there people over in north who look down upon south Indians for being black (which is not completely true )...can you make out that a person is a south Indian in the first place (except in a few cases )..We have some north Indians in our town who sell pani puri or do some menial works..I cant make out he is from other state unless he speaks in most cases.

Do north Indians think all Southerners are black?

South Indians are dark skinned and it's a fact.Anyone unhappy with their dark skin should move to the poles,maybe after a few thousand years they will be as white as the bed sheets.

I must admit, Bangalore is a much more non-south-Indian-appearing-sounding unfriendly city than Chennai is. But in both you'll get the "Oh north Indian?" raised eyebrowed look ....

Aren't all Indians supposed to be ugly, hideous, dark and dwarfed. We Indians are supposed to be senseless Mutants. Whenever i try to make a point or point out some harsh realities on PDF, these are the exact words many esteemed PDF members use to describe me and my fellow country men. So if PDF is to be believed then there's nothing called South or North Indians but only "Ugly" Indians.
On a serious note South Indians looks a bit darker than the North Indians. And this slight difference in skin color complexion is not even worth any discussion.

i guess it is because north indians can abuse very casually as comapred to a south indian guy as no matter how angry a south indian is he is most of the time more polite ... my opinion i may be wrong ... cheers doc
