Hi! Let's not get confused - those tourist arrivals are ONLY limited to those arriving on E-visas NOT regular visas since e-visas now available for tourists from 76 countries. Those 9841 tourists came on E-visa.

Seven-fold rise in tourist arrivals on e-visa - The Hindu

Else the growth in overall terms is 9.2 per cent in inbound travel from January to May this year.

Gambling and Goa go hand in hand.

For hills and mountains Iranians have a lot of places to go in India like kashmir, HP,NE, Kerala, Karnataka....omg! we have so many beautiful hill stations in India that I cant count them on my fingers. :-)
Ab hindi me batati hu...gandagi ka bhi koyi solution government nikaale.
We are lazy and rather choose warm water and sands .

Iran likes going to places that are visa-free, that's why we all go to Turkey and Malaysia. We are very impulsive. By the time, we apply to the consulate for a visa, we have changed our minds, haha.

Anyway, my goal in life is to go to India. My other goal in life is to have an Indian restaurant in Tehran.

There a very small population. Some international companies that have a presence in Iran bring their own employees to Iran. Except for Chinese companies (who only bring Chinese), other companies bring in Indian staff sometimes.

And I've also met Indian businessmen who have established a business in Iran.

I grew up in Dubai, so I was exposed a lot to Indian/Pakistani culture and had a lot of Indian/Pakistani friends. I also worked a year in the Dubai bazaar so I also learned some Urdu at that time!

But I've moved to Iran for last 6 years, so I miss a lot of stuff I was exposed to, meaning I have to make my own Butter Chicken!

Good move, tourism and people to people contact between two countries must be increased,

Then you need to compete with Taj Mahal, lol. Is it still the best Indian restaurant in Tehran?
