These UN resolutions/whatever mean nilch if push comes to shove.

There is the 6 decade old Kashmir resolution - what has been done on that ? Today UN says the resolutions are out of date and suggests a Bilateral solution.

There is a IWT between India and Pak. We are building about 14 dams on the Pakistani rivers in Kashmir and Pakistan which is insanely powerful than Bangladesh is unable to do anything about it. World Bank is rejecting one appeal after other from Pakistan. Lets see what they do for BD. We have enough legal minds to own you in World bank or elsewhere.

As I said you boys seriously over-estimate what BD is worth to the world.

Well there is not much a downstream country can do about it. Its all depends of whether your neighbour is civilized or not. If not then you got to learn living with uncivilized and occassional bickering etc etc and get the best out of it. If world couldnt do anything against Somalia how could they do anything to India. Sorry dude, I know you are one of the saner members here.India will never indulge in actions like these as we know the importance of water. But I dont like some ultra-nationalists,Jamaatis from BD getting all hyper over here over the importance of this transit to India as if our survival depends on it. Just wanted to remind them that we have control over a much more valuable resource.

We have plans in progress to deal with this water issue once and for all. Work is on to build barrage and reservoirs to deal with theses issues.

We can't wait for these guys when all they are looking for is someone to bend over for.
