Interesting video that again displays M.J.Akbar as a "thinking journalist"; actually such "thinking journalists" end up being "chroniclers of their Times".
This has been a keynote of Akbar from the days that he started 'The Telegraph' in Calcutta (the then moniker that Kolkata carried) which came as a breath of fresh air in the 1980s. That was in fact my first introduction to Akbar during frequent and longish stays there. One may not agree with ALL of his views; just as I do not. @
Manas, do read one of his first books "Riot after Riot" which reports on Caste and Communal violence in India. It is an eye-opener. And is part of my library.
One can react to Akbar in any way that one may wish to. And I see that here already. But that does not detract in any way from the merits of this thinking, expression or even his narrative. @
Oscar, that privilege (of disagreement) extends to you as well.
Though your present infatuation with 'fellatio' confounds me (it has appeared at least 3 times in your recent posts on this forum as has 'scrotum'). The journey from "Cerebral to Visceral" is a rather looong one, dear Oscar.
@
muse; I would request you to sight this video too. I look forward to your views on it.
