Time for BD to buy J-10CE?

I tend to believed the war is not immenient anywhere else beside mid east, defintely not India when they have thousand issues to solved than a conventional war with BD or Pak.

It is not war with India that BD is worried about but more a case of India using it's massive military advantage to coerce BD.
Less than a year ago, India tried the same thing with Pakistan and failed.
BD right now cannot stand up to India as it has practically no air-force!

BD shall buy this L-15LT or FTC-2000G, they are better price and better suit for BAF.

Rest of the money save will go , getting 2 KJ-200 AWCS exported version.

2 AWACS guiding a total of 24 fighters with datalink will overwhelm regional enemies more effectively.

100 J-10CEs with PL-15s and KJ-500 will have the Hinduvtas shitting their pants!
36 is affordable and should suffice with US F-16s for the next 5 years.

BD is negotiating with US for F-16s to take care of Myanmar.
Only J-10CE can take on Indian Rafale.
BD has money now as defence budget is 5 billion dollars a year now when you include arms imports. Economy is quite large and growing good as well.

It doesn't matter when the opposite country can turn you into ashes.

I am very disappointed in BAF. It's already been years they announced procurement of MRCA but nothing happened. Meanwhile, every available platform was linked for a deal by many keyboard warriors and youtubers. First it was Su-30 which was ruined because of Russian backstabbing. Then it was Mig-35 that was a fluke. J-10B/C was continuously discussed with no avail. Gripen and Eurofighter were also in the pipeline according to some. Now seemingly BAF is opting for F-16 and this is a deal I don't see happening. Everything regarding BAF has become quite frustrating. So, I have stopped expecting anything!

Gripen and typhoon are out of question. With BAF, the money they have. The most they can get is 4-6 jets which is inadequate.

I highly doubt that China would sell J-10C to BD. This is due to the fact that BD has close relationship with India. Hence due to security reasons, I highly doubt China would sell.

Yes negotiations are ongoing for a full weapons package with USA and has been confirmed by both USA and BD.
This will be the biggest weapons deal in BD history.

USA wont allow you to use these f16s against India. Without AMRAAMs F16s are useless against India.

BD is in serious negotiations for F-16s from USA now.
BD has money and US is willing to sell.
There was incompetence on BAF part but geopolitics also played a big part in why BD did not buy any fighters as of yet.

It doesn't matter when the opposite country can turn you into ashes.

No as any nuclear attack will affect India massively and you do not use nukes freely either.

F16 with with AAMRAMS will be locked and meteors heading its way before the F16 can engage these fighters.

Chinese planes with untested engines are not the way to go as long as long as western option particularly eurofighter is a potential.

However all this is conjecture.... BAF leadership lacks vision and from what i am hearing they have been completely marginalised by BA and BN. BAF leadership is a joke and you guys may not like to hear this but from what I am hearing it is possible BAF has settled in purchasing just half a squadron of migs to form a full squadron on paper. Thats it.... the current leadership is happy to wait out their term to retirement and to hell with national interest. There is not even a single leadership material amougst them.

WS-10B is now a mature engine that has been flying for over a decade on lots of different Chinese jets like J-11 and J-15. Chinese are now so confident they are mass producing them for the single engine J-10C.

BD is negotiating with USA for F-16 and so Gripen and Typhoon are out of the question. This has been confirmed by both governments. BAF leadership may be dumb but not so dumb that they cannot propose a decent and fit for purpose fighter plane to procure.

F-16 cannot fight Rafale with Meteor but F-16CE can. If China willing to sell, BD needs to buy asap.
