Look at this, i always thought that Lions are the most powerfull animal in the jungle

A Bengal tiger has killed a lion at the Ankara Zoo in Turkey after it entered the lion's enclosure via a hole in the fence that separated the two animals. Skip related content

It has been reported by local media that the tiger severed the lion's jugular vein in a single stroke.

Zoo officials have denied media reports that the tiger had broken down the fence during the incident and the zoo remains open for visitors.

This isn't the first time questions have been raised about the zoo's security - it was reported two years ago that a boa snake had escaped from its cage, causing fear in the nearby residential area.

Six tigers and two lions remain at the zoo.

hell, i thought crocks/aligators were alot more powerful than the tigers. these tigers seem to be rednecks in the jungle.

This is a video shot in Assam India where you can see the tiger is not afraid of the elephant and jumps high up on the back of the elephant. Incidently the man on the elephant lost part of his hand in this incident.

Lions hunt in packs while Tiger hunts alone. You need a pack of lions to take down a large bull but a Tiger can do the honours single handedly.
