Both Pakistan and Saudi Arabia are Muslim majority popolutions. While India has only 0.8% of its population following Buddhism and you are claiming Buddhism as yours. Then why not most of you Indians follow Buddhism if you claim it an Indian religion. Why only 0.8% of your population follow this religion and Im assuming that 0.8% population belong to the areas disputed with China.

China has a much larger population of Buddhist followers than India. both population number-wise and population percentage-wise.

1.buddism is originated in china cozz it has the higest buddhist population...

2.Christianity is originated in Europe not Isreal ...

3.Islam is originated in Indonaseia....

4.& English is originated in India as Indians are the largest english speakers in the world...

Hinduism came centuries before Buddhism..

Your semitic mind cannot fathom the concepts of Dharmic religion. I can follow a Jain lifestyle, appreciate Hindu mythology, follow Buddhist philosophy, read verses of the Guru Granth Sahib and yet remain an atheist while you are bound to your book.

For Buddhists, Buddha is their God.

Indian history started in August 15,1947. Just because the British called South Asia, The Indian subcontinent and you kept the name the British called their empire does not make the entire South Asia yours.

Staying on topic whats the price of vegetables in other parts of the world anyway? I can't compare these to Singapore prices cause its probably x 10 times the below prices here. For example it list the price of 1 KG of onions at 0.7 USD and according to some sources inflated prices are about 0.9 USD in India for example. (The Hindu : News / National : Wholesale price of onions not reflected in retail market)

Its natural for price gouging to take place especially when food can fetch a higher price somewhere else, and its a worldwide phenomenon so not sure why it warrants a news article for it.

Price list for common vegetables in Nangchen:

· Cepen (hot sauce): 15 Yuan (2.30 USD)

· Cabbage 1 Kilo: 5-6 Yuan (0.80 USD)

· Onions, 1 Kilo: 4-5 Yuan (0.70 USD)

· Mushrooms, 1 Kilo: 14 Yuan (2.10 USD)

· Potatoes 1 Kilo: 4-5 Yuan (0.70 USD)

· Apples 1 Kilo: 8 Yuan (1.22 USD) [regular price should be 2 yuan]
