Tibetans Use Gandhi Methods to Boycott Chinese Businessmen

Tibet Post International is an Indian propaganda organization headquartered and published out of India. China should respond with Indian Maoist Times, but they aren't that crass.

you mean they have classy state owned propaganda media machine in place...w/ that famous " real news" that says no Chinese starve ever.

.
Why are Indians so interested in Tibetan people? Tibetans have way more in common with China than with India. And most Buddhists in the world live in China. Even if Chinese are mostly non-religious, most Chinese people are Buddhists.

You cant compare Gandhi's struggle against the British to Tibetans. The British had no right being in India in the first place, India had no historical links with Britian and the British and the Indians have absolutely nothing in common.

Gautama Buddha - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Siddhārtha Gautama (Sanskrit: सिद्धार्थ गौतम; Pali: Siddhattha Gotama) was a spiritual teacher who founded Buddhism.[1] In most Buddhist traditions, he is regarded as the Supreme Buddha (P. sammāsambuddha, S. samyaksaṃbuddha) of our age, "Buddha" meaning "awakened one" or "the enlightened one." [note 1] The time of his birth and death are uncertain: most early 20th-century historians dated his lifetime as c. 563 BCE to 483 BCE,[2] but more recent opinion dates his death to between 486 and 483 BCE or, according to some, between 411 and 400 BCE.[3][4] By tradition, Gautama is said to have been born in the small state of Kapilavastu, in what is now Nepal, and later to have taught primarily throughout regions of eastern India such as Magadha and Kośala.[5][6]

^^^ Yeah, your source said he was born in Nepal. :P

What happened to all the Buddhists in India? Buddhism survives on, in East Asia.

I don't think any Chinese members here are religious though.

And this is one of the many reasons why India has problems with most of its immediate neighbours, because India claims all of its neighbour's histories.

In 2008, the Bollywood film Chandni Chowk to China was banned in Nepal, because of a scene suggesting the Gautama Buddha was born in India.[5] Some protesters called for commercial boycott of all Indian films.[6]

About Budhas ethnicity ,he was Shakya (शाक्य )...
Shakya (Sanskrit:Śākya, Devanagari: शाक्य and Pāli:Sākya) was an ancient janapada (realm) of South Asia in the 1st millennium BCE.[1] In Buddhist texts, the Śākyas are mentioned as a Kshatriya clan of Gotama gotra.[2][3] The Śākyas formed an independent kingdom at the foothills of the Himālayas. The Śākya capital was Kapilavastu (Pāli: Kapilavatthu), currently situated in Nepal.

The most famous Śākya was Gautama Buddha, a member of the ruling Gautama (Pāli: Gotama) clan of Lumbini, who is also known as Shakyamuni Buddha (Sanskrit: Śākyamuni), "sage of the Śākyas").

The Hindu Puranas mention Shakya as a king of Ikshvaku dynasty, son of Sanjaya and father of Shuddhodana.[4]

Buddha son of Suddhodana,, the leader of Shakya clan, mother Maha Maya (Māyādevī) a Koliyan princess....

I am not a buddhist, but i think today's Buddhism is more East Asian, not a South Asian religion like Hinduism.

Some ancient connection is really neglectable, and not mentioning that Buddha was possibly not belonging to the Aryan lineage.

And today's Tibetan's traditional culture is Tibetant Buddhism + the ancient Shamanism, thus i simply fail to establish a connection between Tibet and India.

Buddhism is a separate religion from Hinduism. For Buddhists, Buddha is their God. Hinduism has many gods. And Buddhists are allowed to eat cow's meat. Among many differences between the two religion.
