Well,i agree with the first part, but not the last part of your comment. We have no right whatsoever to interfere in U.S Political debates/comments. If we start doing it, then we better keep it up and start criticizing any other controversial remarks/comments other candidates might have made/will make, we shouldn't be hypocritical in choosing to criticize one controversial comment while turning a blind eye on another one just because it isn't on the same topic. We should be consistent then. Moreover, who even came up with the big joke saying we should sign petition to ask our government to ban him in U.K. LMAO. Who the hell even started this bullshit?lol

Moreover, people who are just quick to pick on/judge Trump need to be asking the right question instead of coming to wrong answers, they need to look at the big picture and ask themselves why such figures('ugly' right) are increasingly gaining public support all over Europe and the U.S.

@FrenchPilot Likewise, Donald Trump proclaims himself a crusader against ‘the worst government in the world’( that of President Barack Obama. lol). Looking closer at things we can clearly see that right-wing populism suddenly appears to be a major force. Indeed, surprisingly, Trump’s proposed ban on Muslims entering the U.S. will probably make him more rather than less popular to some extent. Since there is almost as deep a well of white, middle-class anger towards the political class in this country as in the U.S. and France.
Most governments in Europe/U.S dismiss the sentiments that fuels support for people like Trump and Le Pen.
Trump and Le Pen(plus many other similar political figures/parties in Europe/U.S) are gaining more support because of one reason: According to some people/public THEY TELL THE TRUTH. So you will see Trumps supporters saying things like: Trump tells it like it is.
However me myself i'm against such simplistic comments/rhetoric by Trump and Le pen. Since i believe in reality Trump, Le Pen and Farage etc alike offer absurdly simplistic solutions to fantastically complex problems. In short, i never believe anybody who pretends that the answers to such complex questions/issues are easy.
But that does not excuse western mainstream politicians from failing to do what most do almost every day of their professional lives. They disgracefully refuse to speak honestly about a range of issues: our huge problems with immigration, the Middle East and relations with the Muslim world, energy policy, the future of the EU etc, which in turn leads to discontent and disenfranchisement by voters.
For example simple questions are not answered/addressed but brushed aside. Legitimate Questions like :
Why do we tolerate some Muslim schools which propagate non-British values and in some cases radicalism?
when truckers are caught carrying illegal immigrants into Britain, why are the vehicles not immediately confiscated?
What has David Cameron done to make good his 2014 Tory party conference speech, promising to curb immigration?
When will the government address the European Convention on Human Rights, which empowers judges to flout the expressed wishes of Britain’s Parliament and people? etc etc i can go and on.
You should know that people hate being taken for fools. Their anger derives from the refusal of most western mainstream politicians even to admit the magnitude of the challenges we face, not least from the great tide of migrants from the Middle East and Africa surging towards Europe.
Funny enough, our rulers at least can argue that it is physically almost impossible to stop them(though we all know its not.lol), Or they can claim that these people should be welcomed, because the demographics of an ageing workforce make them vital for our economy. But most, including our Prime Minister, make neither case.
Instead, they go on arrogantly pretending that they are taking effective action to curb immigration while doing absolutely nothing of the sort.
The Establishment’s attitude towards extremist Muslims, too, is increasingly out of touch. The priority is for us to strive for harmony with Muslim communities in our own societies. We are not at war against Islam, and must give no grounds for allowing ISIS to pretend that we are. But nobody should refuse to acknowledge as the BBC sometimes does that the fanatics who threaten us today are not Jews, Mormons or Catholics, but are indisputably extremist Muslims.
In short we need to be open and honest to ourselves only then can we sort out this complex issues to the benefit of everyone instead of running away from saying the truth. It only makes things worse with time.
Finally i will say if our government treated us with more respect, told us even a little more of the truth a little more often, we might suddenly find the political class rising in public esteem.As it is, many millions of us are left to wonder why our rulers treat us like idiots and refuse to tell it like it is. Or, more to the point, we ask ourselves why don’t they pay more heed to the hopes and fears of ordinary Britain, our tribe, and rather less to those of everybody else’s?
I will finish this by quoting Italian prime minister Matteo Renzi who said: ‘If Europe does not change its direction immediately, Europe’s institutions risk becoming the best allies of Marine Le Pen and those trying to emulate her.'
